if we can get him for next to nothing, then we should grab him.
I'd give them our 2 second round picks for him. It's kind of hard to know what he's going to be, because he's been up and down over his career. His 2nd year was his best, averaging over 20 PPG.
If he can play SF, then I'd certainly take a chance on him. We could see how he does the rest of this year so we could decide whether or not to re-sign him as a restricted free agent.

I disagree. I think his best place on the floor is a combo-wing. He has had some success playing the '3' for the Kings. His main issue is that they are PG-poor, so they try to make him the main distributor alot of times even when he is playing there.
Last season, when Isiah was playing better, he did a much better job at the '3' and he's proven both this season and last that he can handle the job defensively there.

I think moving him between the 2 and 3 when Waiters and Miles aren't in would be fine... I also think starting him at the 2 and bringing Waiters off the bench wouldn't be bad... I don't think we're ganna make any moves  Can we trade an Injured Andy V for an Injured Andrew Bynum? And then resign Bynum to a nice contract...

 Spurs are an elite team. I just don't know if they can afford to go 7 games with OKC. It would be like last year. Durant and Westbrooks youth and explosiveness will break them down. You've gotta beat them as quick as possible.

I don't know. SA might give OKC some fits. Remember that SA was 1 quarter away from a 3-0 lead in that series. And, that was with Harden.
The key between SA v. OKC isn't going to be if Duncan/Parker/Ginobli can keep up with Durant/Westbrook, but which teams secondary players are hitting their 3pt shots.

SA is my favorite team besides Cavs, I really like OKC too but for different reasons..OKC is so athletic and fun to watch, while SA are easily the best fundamental team in the game. Pops is an amazing coach. If we had a coach like him during the lebron years...i think that story plays out a little different. I do think its going to be OKC or SA out of the west, but the clippers are pretty sneaky too. The east i think its Miami and indiana, Chicago outworks alot of teams but without Drose they don't have that player to elevate them in the playoffs, so I guess if drose comes back and plays well, then I'd take chicago over indiana. Pacers D is epic, but so is their pathetic offense.

SA is sneaky athletic too. They can be a bit too robotic at times (they stay within their system regardless of situation - good most of the time, but can hurt them sometimes), but Parker, Ginobli, Kawhi are all premier athletes. And, of course, Pops is the best coach in the NBA (with Phil retired, I won't even accept debates on that one).
OKC is still the favorites though until SA/Pops proves he has figured out how to counter their speed advantage. Josh Smith would have been HUGE for them, but it didn't happen.
I don't trust the Clippers. They are killing people with their depth. Depth-based teams tend to not be quite as good in the playoffs when their depth isn't as much of an asset. CP3 is great but the rest of their starters still have significant flaws in their games. They are good, but I don't put them on the same level as OKC or SA.

I recommend my fellow cavs fans watch Otto Porter of Georgetown. Kid fits the bill of a long athletic SF that plays nice defense. He can score too.

Unquestionably the best player on the floor, and yes he does have a pure jump shot.

I think the west is wide open. I certainly wouldn't favor them though.
I would bet against them because I don't think Vinny Del Negro is a very good coach.
The west playoffs are going to be really fun though.

The guy is truly amazing. I love watching him play and he is the clear standout this year for the Hoyas. He was amazing tonight and I'd love to see the rematch with Syracuse on the 9th but I'll be home for spring break and won't be able to attend.
I've seen him mocked to the Cavs in some drafts and I think he'd be a great fit. He's not going to be a great scorer, but I think he could be a guy that gets you 15 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds and plays good defense every night.

Cavaliers started out strong in tonight's game against the Heat ...... but the Heat seem to be everywhere in the last 4 or 5 minutes, and they were from a Cavaliers 11-5 lead to a Heat 31-20 lead.

The Heat passing is just amazing though, and the Cavaliers trying to pass look like they are at half speed by comparison.
The Cavaliers were stuck at (or around) 18 seemingly forever.

Playing Miami is like going up against Tyson in Mike Tyson's Punch Out. They can beat you down mercilessly right out of the gate, but weather that first round and you have a chance.

The Cavaliers have played better in the 2nd quarter, for sure.
They are within 7 right now, with Dion heading to the line for 1.
For a while it seemed like no matter what the Heat threw up, it went in. There were a couple of shots that made me just shake my head.

Yeah but the team still has to play through those. There's no excuse allowing the Heat to get out to almost a 20 point lead again. I do have to say that I think that Dion Waiters has a real future.

True. At some point it weighs on a team, though, especially one as young as the Cavs are, with the feeling that no matter what you do the other team will be allowed to beat you up without getting calls.
I do wish Speights would pound the crap out of Bosh (within the confines of the rules, of course).
And there's another horrible no-call.

Well, the just summed up nicely on the TV broadcast ..... until the Cavaliers learn to respect the defensive side of the ballgame, they will be unable to beat the really good teams.
That said, the Cavaliers really took the Heat to the limits tonight. The Heat won their last 4 games by double digits, and they definitely got some home court calls tonight .... but the challenge for the Cavaliers is learning to overcome those calls, and lock down the defense at the end of the game.

We lost the game because of 3 point shooting and it wasn't even a huge difference.
I can live with what happened tonight. Although we need to come out stronger than we did tonight.

Maybe, but defensively we folded down the stretch.
The Cavaliers also got sloppy for a while with the ball right before they went on the run to take the lead. It's weird how they went from sloppy and careless with the ball to laser like precision.
