I've been debating on whether or not to mention this on these boards,,, But finally, it's the day before my surgery and I figured,, what the heck, Tomorrow morning, Bright and early, I go to the Cleveland Clinic so that they can perform surgery to correct an Abdominal Aortic Anyerism (sp). My understanding is that I'll be on the table for about 3 or so hours,,, In Recovery for several hours and then off to ICU for a day or more.. I expect to be able to watch the game on Sunday,,,, I might be groggy, but should be able to watch... Everyone tells me that a person my age and general health should come thorugh this just fine,,,, so if all goes well, I should be home by the 7th. Now comes the bad news,,,,,,, I won't be able to drive for 4 to 6 weeks... You may ask, why is this the bad news,,,,,well, it's because I just finished rebuilding my 300 ZX (1992) and I'm pretty sure we'll have some nice days in the next six weeks where if I were allowed, I could drive it,,,, <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I'll have my laptop and there is supposed to be a highspeed connection available in my room or very near by... Once able, I'll jump on and let you folks know I'm still here. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> So for the next 3 or 4 days, if you don't see or hear from me,,,you'll know why! I expect to be able to watch the game on Sunday,,,, I might be groggy, but should be able to watch...
