I thought Sheldon Brown played pretty well last season. I am surprised he isn't getting any action in free agency.

From the brief reports I have read Captain M isn't really a mind blowing option for CB #2. But I would be pretty surprised if we saw a name like Grimes come from nowhere at this point. Who else are we reported to be looking at? Toler?

I can't keep up with who all is available, I need to re-find one of those tracker websites.

I've said this before - pull of a trade with GB for Sam Shields. He's got a 2nd round tender - so offer a 3rd next year. Maybe add in Colt if they're still interested in him. I'd go with upping it to a 2nd next year and Colt. He's 25 with some good experience and talent IMHO.

I'd do that. Who the heck is backing up Rodgers these days anyway?

Any word on E.J. Biggers, Buccs CB? He's probably on par w Cason & Captain M.

I think Toler signed already. ESPN.com has a good FA tracker on their site.

CBs are flying off the board today. Even if Munnerlyn only proves to be a #3 corner, we need more bodies. Get him Lombardi.

Last season I believe his backup was Graham Harrell. A new fad practice known in the NFL simply as the "Painter" strategy. He was awful in his very limited snaps last season.

Browns better get cracking. Dominos are starting to fall for CB's and the Browns are going to get shut out if they don't make a move here quick. Can't believe they didn't make a run at Lewis and it appears they're gonna miss out on Cason as well. Talib was always my personal #1 choice at CB but it doesn't even appear that they're interested....

They're too concerned with getting a QB they don't need because the starting QB will have to be "their guy" (whether he's better than Weeden or not) kinda like what Holmgren and Heckert did with McCoy. Can't wait to see who they get, and what they give for him.

Holmgren and Heckert drafted McCoy so he was "Their Guy" for a while anyway.

I also don't believe they are obsessed with finding a QB this year. I think the ARE obsessed with finding out if Weeden is the guy or not.

My guess is that they will find his back up. But not someone that will take his place. I mean, unless we get really lucky. I hear Kolb is available

I was only using Haden as an example to prove a point.

We need to extend Mack in July before training camp this year.
Next year is the year to extend Haden.

Dustin Keller leaves Miami unsigned

Money issue? Or health issue? I know he took a physical while down there...

May be both. Physically he wasn't where they wanted him at for how much money they were gonna pay him.........

But probably, physical issue. Generally, if he's taking a physical, the money has pretty much been worked out

we need to sign him ASAP. the last time Miami passed on a FA that failed a physical, he became the best player in the NFL for awhile.

It was Keller and Bennett that I wanted from the start (Bennett the most), Keller would be a great edition to the team.

Sanchez loved the guy, one of the big reasons he did so bad last year. Keller was his safety blanket. Runs good routes, he's fast for a TE, and catches the ball pretty well

I could have sworn Brent Grimes resigned with the Falcons a couple days ago on a 1 year deal (coming off his Achilles injury) What I read about Keller is he wanted a multi year deal Miami offered him a 1 year deal...I would love to add Keller...disappointed Kenny Phillips signed elsewhere...he also inked a 1 year deal to prove his knees are healthy...We def need to ink a corner like Cason (as the CB market actually looks affordable this offseason...safeties too) I wouldn't mind a FS too...not sure who's all left??

Grimes re-signing was a false report.

It's been pretty good so far this free agency period. But, yes, in the past it's been pretty bad.
