Look for Wallace's numbers to fail to get to the levels he found as a Steeler. Ben's mobility, ability to extend plays, and big arm were a perfect fit for Wallace. In Miami where they have a different type of QB, he's not going to be worth what they'll pay him IMHO.
I'm glad the Steelers and Rats are losing key players while we are acquiring key players.

One thing to consider about the Dolphins...
The Dolphins just agreed to a referendum on Sun LIfe Stadium regarding upgrades/changes. It will go to a vote by the Miami public. So what the Dolphins are doing, outside of buying Wallace, Ellerbe, and whomever else (with the hope of optimism for the football team), they are also trying to buy votes.
Not a bad strategy if you ask me.

Kruger has a bit more time under his belt. Bit of a gamble for both maybe but Ellerbee more so IMO.

Has anybody heard anything about Avril? Where does he have visits scheduled or any leads on where he will go now that we signed Kruger...I'm assuming we are out of the running although signing both of those guys would REALLY bolster our LB crew...
I just hope they go out and sign a top notch CB and Safety and we will be looking plenty good heading into draft day...we night actually be able to draft the BPA for once without thinking about need...

He wants more than 10mil/year, and thus, will be waiting for a long time IMO....

A while ago it seemed to hinge on Elvis Dumerville. Dumerville leaves Denver, Freeney goes to Denver, Avril goes to Indy.
Dumerville has now agreed to restructure so that's in limbo.

Daman...ILB usually make much less than OLB/Pass Rushers. Especially 3-4 ILB vs OLB so Ellerbe was a big contract where they are all saying wow...Kruger they were all saying wow for the other way...they thought it was going to be more.
Avril...yeah that must be where all the rumors were that we were going to spend 12 mil for Kruger...probably what Avril wants.
Only problem I got is TE went quick...5 signed already??? Including Cook? We didn't get one. Thought we definitely was going to get one. Makes draft an Urgent need for TE??? Unless we going with WRs??? Cameron only TE n Smelley in Hback if we go 2 TE...but very little depth??? Did Watson sign...I don't think so...but he already said goodbye to us fans???

I would have to agree with you. Cook would demand way too much money for a TE.
I also think that myers is a better blocker as i think cook is mainly just a big WR.

Agree..not much out there with exception of Brandon Meyers and Dustin Keller...I like Keller a lot...Watson seemed pretty clutch at the end of the year..he makes some tough catches...if I remember I think he had a really slow start to the year..and like you pointed out he's getting rather old..never was a very good blocker..tho gives good effort and the concussion issue is always a question mark..if we don't find anyone for TE I wouldn't mind Watson back
