btw...the person who is currently in the lead in my league has a final four of:

Louisville
Ohio State
Michigan
Syracuse

with Syracuse winning it all.

He's one of the top people in the country at this stage.

My son is in first and I am in second in a fairly large pool. We both have OSU as the champion. Sadly, the wife of my friend who administers the pool....(she actually did all of the work) suddenly passed away this week. She was 39yo and just a wonderful human being. It just takes all of the enjoyment out of march madness for us this year.

I'm nervous, Wichita State reminds me a lot of Sparty in terms of style of play.

Just signed a 10 year extension and told the media how much he loved being here and wanted to finish what he started. I understand its all about the money. Just wish once it wasn't.

I feel like I'm watching Cincinnati, no ball movement, jacking up threes early in the shot clock and bricked free throws.

They look like they don't even care. I'm tired of these one dimensional guys not doing their job.

Just selfish and lazy basketball.

Look exactly like we did early in the year. Matta got the best out of these scrubs.

One way to describe OSU getting a beatdown at the hands of Wichita State: Incredibly disappointing

With that said, though, I will most likely root for Wichita State against Michigan/Florida in the Final 4. I like what I'm seeing from this Carl Hall dude.

It's irritating me

Yeah when you shoot 31% from the field 20% from 3, you will lose your game.

Oh well, next years team will be good. 4/5 starters returning and Ross will fill in for DT.

Just clicking Ytown

but it amazes me how fast people can turn on their teams. We had another nice run, did many expect Elite 8 this year? Not just in this thread, but other places too. Now all of a sudden they are bums and scrubs? SMH

A LOT of these guys are one dimensional and very flawed. I could break down a serious flaw in every guy.

It's more of a testament to Thad Mattas brilliance. I used to think the opposite. He got the best out of these guys.

If I could change one thing about college basketball, it'd be that college football starts like a week after the final four.

Speaking for myself, I'm just disappointed.

Credit given for the Buckeye comeback, but it was a horribly stupid loss. We started rarly to get WS in foul issues, then quit driving and drawing fouls. WE also were heinous about throwing up shots that were covered and not working it in. This was a hard loss to watch, but not to understand IMO. We gave away about 3/4 of our possessions, especially perimeter. Some starters did way too little werk on defense. This should have been the Buckeyes day; will not say I am proud of their efforts,

I strongly advise not to watch replay. Worst thing I've seen in sports. Having Knee injuries from sports myself... made me walk outside to catch my breath.

Dear God I feel awful for Ware.

That looked as bad if not worse than what happened to Lattimore.

I only saw it twice (though the 2nd time I was peeping through my fingers). And from what I saw, it seemed like it was all bone. I didn't really see potential ligament damage.*

An amazing effort put out by Louisville here. An excellent coaching job by Patino and a great response from the players after what happened to Kevin Ware. Prayers are with him and his family and I hope he makes a speedy recovery from such an injury.

Gotta say I was disapointed, but tOSU had a great year after being picked 5-6 in the BIG TEN Pre Season Polls, and what a foundation for next year even if DT leaves, (I hope he stays) ... Go Bucks

I tuned in a few minutes before they took him away on the stretcher, and a crowd was around him as he was lying on the floor. Couldn't see anything for all the people, but when they was showing the reaction of others, and showed no replay of what happened, and then noticed his leg was in some type of splint, I figured it was a pretty gruesome injury, and I'm glad I didn't see it happen.

However, I'd suggest not watching it.

Did they show multiple angles of the injury on footage? Or some kind of zoom?

All I could find was the gameplay video of it happening.

From what I understand bone stuck out, but I couldn't really see that. I am just wondering if y'all got a better view than me. All I saw was the jump, the landing, and the injury very briefly.

Reminds me of the Theismann injury. Poor kid didn't even have LT buckling his leg, just a freak landing (which looked perfectly normal to me).

No.

To CBS' credit, they showed the replay I think only twice, saw how bad it was, and then made a good decision to not show it again.

That was as bad as Cory Hill in a UFC fight kicked someone leg, they checked the kick with thier shin and Cory's leg snapped halfway between the knee and ankle. UFC replayed it many time in multiple angles and I had to change the channel for a while so I didn't see it again. Glad CBS didnt do what the UFC did.
