This would be my guess. CFL or Arena... his talents would do well in both of those leagues, especially Arena league.

I could see him doing well in a league where he can run ...... but I don't think that's the Arena league. The Arena League is all about quick decisions and accurate throws. It's less about running ability and pure arm strength. The QB has to be more accurate, because the field is more compressed compared to the NFL or NCAA field.
The CFL spreads out the field vertically and horizontally. It would give Tebow more chance to run, and also more room to throw deep. His receivers would have greater opportunity to get more open, because of the extra width of the field, as well as the extra depth. The end zones are also deeper, 20 yards compared to 10 in the NFL. Defenders have more more room to cover. The defense is more spread out. It would offer Tebow more opportunities to use his abilities.

I still think he ends up in the NFL and wins a SuperBowl MVP.
There may be a sidetrack, but this is far from over, so for those, I wouldn't get too excited over rooting against someone.

For me, not excited, nor rooting against.... I just fail to see any value in him as a player at all.
I'm sure that he's a great guy and all, but from what I've seen of him, his play does not warrant all the love and attention that he gets.

I know there's a lot of people who enjoy rooting against Tebow. Personally, I don't get it. He's about as exemplary a human being as you can find.
But it's certainly not rooting against someone to point out the idea of him making it in the NFL as a QB is extremely far-fetched.
If I were him, career-wise, I'd look to a lesser league or, as other have suggested, to get it out there that he's not looking to compete as a QB in the NFL.
Either way ... the guy's probably to have a nice life for himself, whether or not football is a part of it.

ahh.. I always liked Evan Moore.. he had pretty good hands.. but from time to time he would just leave plays out on the field. heartbreaking plays at that. lol.

It really makes you wonder if attitude was his issue. Even when he was so-called healthy, his game play was limited. Even after getting a contract extension, his game play was limited. He was a virtual mismatch against anything being LB or CB or safety.
Beats me, but I guess something is up...

That's how it is for me as well. I just don't see a guy who only throws for a 50% rate as being an answer as an NFL QB.
He's a great guy, just like colt is. So to me, there's really nothing personal about it. It's just that his passing prowess, or lack of it, just doesn't quite measure up IMO
I mean Trent Dilfer got away with it for the Ravens. But everybody pretty much understood that all Trent had to do was "not lose it for them" and their D is what won them their championship.

A guy that was the 6th best QB on his team with a small salary that just cleared waivers and is getting job offers from the indoor, Canadian and lingerie leagues is, in your mind, going to eventually be the Super Bowl MVP? Come on dude.
And in general, all the "he's the ideal man" BS is getting old. Because he's religious and in good shape? Please. There's about 20-25 of those on each NFL roster and those guys aren't broken down on ESPN or fan message boards with, "...and Bob is an amazing human being with great core values, but his lateral movement covering TEs is lacking."
In an attempt to bring this thread back out of the Tebow drama, anybody think Dallas Clark could help us? He's available.

One thing I noticed following some of our players on twitter was how very religious our team seems to be. I'm not sure why Tebow gets so much attention for his convictions..they seem to be held nearly unanimously throughout the league.

General comment:
I wonder where Cribbs will be next year? As far as I know, he still hasn't signed anywhere. His point of most interest was Arizona, but they weren't prepared to sign him due to an injury issue ...... and they may not have an interest in him now that they drafted a pretty talented return guy in Tyrann Mathieu.
If Zona doesn't want to sign him, where does he go?

Yep. I am just surprised, because I can't imagine that he has that horrible an injury. He is definitely wearing down as a player, but I would think that he still has some value to someone in the NFL. Maybe not though.

agreed. a poorly timed meniscus injury or else he would have already signed with Arizona (according to those reports). wondering if he's still recovering and teams will just wait until July/August to sign a veteran ST guy based on what they see in OTA's and preseason if he isn't 100% yet.

Man, I had a torn meniscus that required surgery once, and it didn't take this long to heal up.
I have to wonder if there is something else going on with him?

certainly could have other injuries as well. one of the reasons noone rushes to sign the veteran football players. those are some beatup bodies (even limited-duty guys like Cribbs).

He only had 18 punts inside the 20 last year. That's awful. (Hodges, as bad as he was last year, had 29 inside the 20) I don't know how the Vikings coverage teams overall were though.....

We have the same special teams coach. My feeling is he wanted Lanning, but "Rat" Shurmer wanted experience.
Lanning will be a NFL punter the next 15 years......give or take a few since the "Rat" took a season away from him and he was a year removed from college.
