I have nothing to be paranoid about. It's had zero effect on me one way or the other. Don't expect it will. The only thing people get paranoid about are things they fear or things they feel threaten them in some way. Sorry,but I ain't feelin' it.

I'd still like to know which of these is supposed to be the strong male role model. Is it the one who sleeps all day, eats huge sandwiches, is afraid of his boss and can never get ready for work on time. Neither of them. That was my point., There's always been stupid guys on TV. That's not a problem. It's always been that way.
But there used to be some type of balance. You had stupid ones ans smart ones. Now? There's no balance.
I don't feel you need every man on TV to be brilliant. Nor do I believe the women should play subserviant roles. But why is it there appear to be NO strong father figures left on TV? Why is it they ALWAYS show men as some type of bumbling boobs?
That was my entire premise here. Not that we needed "strong male role models" for our children to follow. Just the fact that network sitcoms over the course of the past 20 years have made every male star a complete idiot that is incapable of making it through life without his smart wife leading him around by the nose!
I'm all for the "Ralph Cramden" types as well. They're funny too. But every man on TV? It's rather redundant and certainly not very reflective of any type of balance in the matter.
