So, when I speak with them I give the respect they demand by speaking to them in kind.

Seems to me like you really speak to them as a group rather than individuals and you have based your method on those conservatives who yell the loudest and say the most outrageous things rather than the majority of the individuals who aren't nearly that bad... in short you are a bigot and a profiler....

Well I WAS speaking with someone who initially implied I use liberal thinking, but I didn't notice anyone calling it to his attention.

Is it just when a non-con is a bigot and profiler that it's a problem or is it always a problem?

In theory it should be....

I agree!

In reality, a lot of things do.....

Which is where the fellow and I were having our conversation.

It might be more helpful if you just let him speak to me, especially if the criticism only applies to profiling "that other board" members do.

J/C Haven't read any other opinions, just giving my opinion on the question in the thread title.

My wife and I have quite a bit of student loan debt. But, no, it shouldn't be waived. I got plenty of tax credits while I was going to school and the Gov't has picked up the tab for my loan interest for years now. They've done plenty, going to college was my mistake. I'd trade my degree for a loan payoff tomorrow.

Schools need to be much more efficient, and the Gov't needs to find a way to help people get education without inflating the cost. I don't have the answer, but increasing borrowing capacity increases the cost (like the housing bubble or anything else).
