No Logo, you misunderstood. I am emphasizing how some state each year Browns needed these receivers in order to be successful. I totally disagree.

Give me a good QB, and you make good receivers. Note I said good receivers not elite receivers. If I'm drafting in the top ten, QB, OL, pass rusher, and DL are my concerns. Yes, it would be nice having Megatron, Green, or Fitz, but these guys cannot consistently win games on a poor team. All three are living proof.

Many teams win super bowls without elite receivers. No team without a strong combination of QB, OL, and DL every won a super bowl.

yes, WR's are not as important as QBs. no doubt there. WRs can certainly help out a bad QB (2007 as proof), but it's much easier for QBs to help out the WRs.

Everyone makes everyone look good though. It's true what they say, if one cylinder isn't firing, the overall product is effected.

Are we finally there?

Yes. Banner's veteran WR moves, plus Heckert's draft moves seal the old WR debates: We needed better WRs. We had a huge void. It took some picks and some free agents, but we've improved the team.

The QB? A whole other story that does not explain the lack of action at WR in 2009 and 2010. You Can't get a quality QB for a pick-swap like we did with Bess. QB is more important than punter, RT, FB, etc. That Doesn't mean you keep a FB that can't block or a punter that can't punt. While you try to get that franchise QB, you continue to upgrade the other spots!
