I feel bad for the poorly educated and/or less intelligent members of the black community (and other communities but black in particular) that don't recognize these people for what they are.
The civil rights movement was noble and necessary. These race baiters need for racial animosity to remain....or else they need to find another source of income. And these guys make money hand over fist in the current climate. One that the media is fully complicit in as well IMO.
Would you mind posting a link to how Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton created a race in 2012?

I don't see why it would in perpetuity. Skin color in and of itself is meaningless.
It's the things we attach to the color that have meaning. And that trend has been moving in the right direction for some time now.
I don't think I'll live to see the end of racism in the US but I do think I'll see the day that such an outlook is so marginalized as to be considered meaningless.
I don't see a new breed of race baiters coming. The Sharptons, Jacksons, David Dukes (I add him here as a race baiter, heck I don't even know the name of another white supremacist see what I'm talking about here!) and their ilk are all 60+ and will fade into history shortly.

In about 200 years, we will be a pretty mixed up group and will just have to be known as Americans.
As we should always be.
I dislike this stuff. A lot. 50-100 years ago the battle was over what type of white you were... Italians, Greeks, Irish, Swedes Polish, and the various Eastern Europeans.
Now it is about whether or not you contain some Black, Hispanic or Asian in you.
What matters more is if you are a decent person or not. The come in all sizes shapes and colors. Both good and bad.

Anyone who talks about the worry of not saying what they want because of the fear of being called a racist probably doesn't understand the real persecution/prejudice/stereotyping/racism/whatever/ that happens for merely being who you are.
I would advise you to stop victimizing yourself and say whatever the heck you want. Just stop acting like it's someone else's fault if they tell you they're offended.
You have the absolute right to speak however you want and others have the absolute right to respond.

Plenty of people get called haole here. It means ghost. Technically it means "without a soul" but it was to describe what islanders thought when ships of white people landed here.
It can be used in a derogatory way toward whites but it's not used that way too often.
