I hate to be the ahole, seeing as how it's your birthday and all, but,if the tailback is following the FB,it's not a dive.
In my mind, the WCO is not a run friendly offense, too complicated and too many rules for a lineman to follow. In time this group would have excelled at it,thankfully time isn't an option.
I like the rightside, add a blocking TE,and of coarse a FB,mix in Turner's power scheme, and the run game will not be a problem this year.

Shaun Alexander 2005 1880 yards and 27 rushing touchdowns in the WCO(Holmgren)
Alfred Morris ran for 1610 yards and 13 touchdowns as a rookie last year in Shanahan's WCO. Shanahan has had a plethora of successful RB's while running the WCO.

I think our line will be just fine. They need time together. They will have to adjust to the new scheme, but so does everyone else. I liked Schwartz's progress last season. JT is JT.... Time will tell but I think if we give them the mandate to blast off the snap and hit someone they will come through. Hopefully, we'll start running it down some throats.... *Fingers crossed* we see Richardson hit 1400+ and double digit TD's this year.

Coaches have strengths and weknesses. I thought a glaring hole in Shurmur's game was working the run game. To many throws on 3rd and short when those are your money downs to break down the other team's defense mentally.

I remember the one 3rd and short where the ref spotted the ball back like a whole yard when we should have had the first and Pat decided to run it again on 4th and our line blew them off the los with dominating force, the pile actually moved a few yards up field. We did not give our line enough attempts to do just that.

Part of that was Trent not wanting to move the pile. I can understand that if he had the ribs, its hard to get low but thats when you switch backs if one cant get low enough to move the pile. There was opportunity for this team to instill their will on opposing defenses and we did not allow the run game to do it.

Running the ball is a mentality and you need your guys wanting to get bloody and dirty. I feel we have the team to do that. Our receivers are terrors in blocking. This line gets to the 2nd level continuing their blocking as well as anyone in the league.

I want to see more big plays and More tough guy plays in which we own it.

Defenses love to attack and OL love to run block. I think we have an OL that can do that and now in this offense I think they'll get their chance.
