What I have found is that I have actually MET a lot of the people on this board at our tailgates. That brings a lot more credibility to anyone. What I really like about that is that most people we have met are not what you might expect from their "persona" on the board.
We always invite anyone from this site to our tailgates. Many are reluctant to show up because of perceived differences, however when they do decide to come they normally have a great time. We are all Browns fans, and I hope to meet more of you this season!

There used to be a clique mentality on this board, but I think it's pretty much gone. The old school guys used to love to gang up on new posters, but I don't really see that anymore. It was like 'how dare you enter our community...you outsider!"....but again, I think that is pretty much gone.
This is the best Browns board for an overall sense of community and the most intelligent posters per capita. It is also the best designed board ...it's easy to navigate and read.
This board is absolutely awful for news. It's ridiculous that you can't post from verified Twitter sources. If you want news in a timely manner go to the OBR. Absolutely best site for real time news.
Browns Chat is just garbage...don't see any redeeming qualities from that site. Was shocked that people are expressing excitement that it is back open.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

As far as getting information quick? I heard about Ryan Miller going down almost immediately. Twitter feed of course..... They didn't tweet his name until his family could be notified, but within seconds the news was out that a player was down.

Just checked out the team's message board...nothing has changed. The stories about the board being down because the Browns were changing the design of the message board...that doesn't appear to be the case at all.

The part you and many of this boards members (not all or even most) don't get is the only clique that should exist is the Browns fan Clique and like a family there are some that express themselves better then others, in that respect this board isn't better then any other board or membership but the attitude that you are somehow better fans or smarter fans does indeed set you apart but not in a good way brother...
I believe the term used is stuck up.... 
I think the only time I have notice cliquish behavior is when a new poster appears, and out of the gate comes with an attitude. It sometimes surprises me how people make their initial posts on a new forum, unlike anything they would do in a real life social situation.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

I agree with ddubs comment above. I don't care for nor approve the way Held has been responding to you as of late in regards to questioning you.
I just don't see a very few posters as a clique.
I don't care where you go in this world, if you get a group of people together, you'll have a few bad apples in the bunch. That's just how people are in general.

I don't see that as some kind of "clique". Frankly, it's that they just don't seem to like you. You seem to dislike them in return. It happens.
A clique implies that there is a group of people who see themselves as superior to everyone not in their group. I do believe that there are some posters like that .... but not some organized group of people.

Look bad behavior isn't unique to this board nor are the members of this board on whole in any way shape or form bad people for the most part their just great folks, but there is a faction that makes anyone not in their Clique so to speak feel very unwelcome. But instead of putting those folks in check you condemn the OUTSIDER, and right on cue you did exactly that....
BTW it's not the 1st time I have gotten that response from you, or other members of this board. Bad behavior and rudeness no matter what quarter it comes from reflects badly on the membership....

Look you guys are blowing this way out of proportion IMO, I made a comment about some of the rude behavior I have been a witness too while being on this board, and right on cue I was given a rude response and right on cue certain members of this board condemned my remarks in response while completely ignoring what brought about those remarks in the 1st place.
I don't know what or how to describe what would cause a person to defend bad behavior and condemn it coming from 1 person but not the other but it smacks at Clique... It just does sorry.....

Please continue to act as if you don't see outsiders as that. I've been around for over a decade and I know exactly what they are referring to. That's part of the beauty of the official board, the influx of new members and thoughts. There is a crapload of group-think on this board, way, way more so than the other.
I won't even debate it.
I lurk here at lot more when the other board is up rather than participate because there are some opinions I value. I just can't be bothered with the constant E-penis show.

Oh, BS. The Browns board is no more superior in the discussion or differing opinions. Where is this "group" mentality? People disagree here over virtually ANY subject.
It looks to me that there are some people who don't like that people disagree with them or feel somehow that they don't "fit' in, and therefore everyone must be in a clique or against outsiders or some other crap. There are a bunch of different personalities here, some people get along, some don't. Big freaking deal.
I do find it a bit odd that you all feel the need to come over here and bash us. You got your fantastic message board back, enjoy. No need to come in here and act like asses to those of us who like it here. To each there own.
