I don't want to move up for any of them. If they come to us, fine, but I wouldn't give up much to move up very far.

Tahj Boyd is going to impress people Saturday. I think his numbers will be average. However I think he will make some big time NFL plays and lead his team to victory.

People are going to be more impressed with Jameis Winston of FSU.. he is the best QB in the country and I'm not certain that it's all that close.

I think it's going to be a very good game..

I'm not right very often.... but here, I was.

Except I predicted it would be a good game.... I guess it was if you are an FSU or if you enjoy watching a great team dismantle a really good team.

Did any of you watch the SC game? Spurrier is one of the biggest idiots I have ever seen. So overrated. SC has the lead. They are on their 25 yard line. It's 4th down. There is a timeout. SC comes out w/their offense. They don't try to draw Tenn off sides, but call a timeout early, presumably because Spurrier wants to see the Vols defensive alignment. After the TO, Spurrier does it again. He once again blows a timeout w/out trying to draw them off sides.

SC then has a short punt. Tenn has a short field and drives down to kick the game winning FG. SC is helpless to stop the clock because the genius Spurrier blew two timeouts by bringing out his offense on his OWN 25 yard line.

True story, folks.

Not sure. It's too early. A few observations:

--Winston appears to be stronger.
--Mariota appears to be a bit faster.
--Winston might have the stronger arm.
--Mariota looks to be a bit more accurate.
--Both make plays out of nothing.
--Winston throws off balance a bit too much.
--Winston't delivery looks a bit better.

What's hard to tell in the college game is how well these guys read coverages and even defenses. Both guys seem to get a lot of time and are throwing to guys who are open. Both did zing some passes into tight coverage, but are they reading the coverage? Hard for me to tell at this point.

I know I am going to try and watch a lot more of Mariota, especially since he is coming out.

What do you see, Candy?

I agree with everything you've said. Winston reminds me of Big Ben. Mariota reminds me of Kaepernick.

However a guy that I think fits Chuds offense is Bryce Petty of Baylor. He has beautiful deep ball accuracy.

Yea, Big Ben is the best comparison for Winston except Winston is faster and, I believe, smarter.

I'm hesitant to compare Winston to a guy like Cam Newton because Cam runs like a damn runningback.

Winston is far more or a pass first, run if he has to QB... He wouldn't thrive in the read option the way Cam does.

I'm so very confused, everything I've heard on espn, they say college gameday is in columbus this week, which shocked me. However my guide says its in Oregon, which is where they should be, but I'm watching SVP and Russell, and they keep saying college gameday in columbus?

So very confused

QB scouts alert ... here's the 10/26/13 TV sched for most of the top prospects:

Bridgewater / Louisville ... 12ET ... ESPN2

Manziel / T-A&M ... 12:21ET ... ESPN3

McCarron / Bama ... 3:30ET ... CBS

Boyd / Clemp-son ... 3:30ET ... ESPN

Mariota / Ore ... 7ET ... ESPN

Mettenberger / LSU ... 7ET ... ESPN3

Miller / tOSU ... 8ET ... ABC

Jimmy Garappollo / E Illinois is not on TV - this is an outrage.

I'll expect reports tomorrow morning, 9AM (ET).

Oregon and Baylor need to play each other in a bowl game.

Also I really like Derek Carr. The kid is gonna be good.

I miss our old defense... I dunno what it is if it's injuries or what but our defense has been suspect at times this year....

I am beginning to follow Sean Mannion, from Oregon State.

They play Stanford tonight, it is on ESPN, and I think it will be a good game.

This is why he brought in Urban Meyer. He has met expectations and then some. We would have beat Notre Dame in the title game last year. This offense is just a machine.

Well, we only scored 9 TD tonight ...... so ...

This was the Buckeyes imposing their will on a decent team. Maybe not a great team ..... but not some "Weak, blind sisters of the poor" either. Penn State beat Michigan just a week ago ..... so to totally dismantle them was nice to see.

I'd argue it's actually 10 years too late, but yes, I think a deserving team will be left off this year.

I think the biggest difference between Meyer and years past is the o-line. It cannot be overstated how huge it was getting rid of Jim Bollman who was a handicap for the o-line. Our current group is big, mean and athletic.

--Our OL is outstanding.

--I think our offense is one of the best--if not the best--in the country.

--The D played better, but they still scare me. I think the key will be pressuring the qb, because we don't cover that well. A team like Oregon would gash us.

--Hyde is a tank at the goal line. Heck, he is a fast tank anywhere on the field.

--Urban is a winner. Period.

--I know this is not supposed to count, but it might be hard for voters to not recognize us winning 25 straight games.

I missed Penn State's last TD. Did Robinson beat Roby on the 65 yard TD pass? It can't bode well for Roby's first round aspirations that he got pretty much owned by Abrederis and Robinson.

Cancel that question, just saw the highlight ... a 1 yd flat pass with a nice 64 yard run ... it didn't look like Roby was even in the game at that point. At least 101 of Robinson's 170+ receiving yards came in garbage time, after it was 56-7.

Yeah, we had the back-ups in for a long time in that game. We may have given up a TD, but it was a wise move. Those guys need game experience.

Absolutely blown away with my first experience inside the shoe for a game....

TV does absolutely no justice to how loud it gets on third down. That bell sound is LOUD. The Browns should do that once they're good (since they don't get off the field on 3rd)

Skull session was really really cool.

Got to meet Brad Nessler before the game. He was getting out of an SUV and headed to the press door, and we stopped and said hello. He was really nice. He's my favorite football announcer, so it was cool to meet him.

And I know OSU fans get a bad rep, but the fans in and around that stadium are unbelievable. I did not see one fight in the stadium. PSU fans walked around with no issues. I can't say the same for our Browns. Some of our people are quite vicious. Although I have been to 6 college football games at 4 different stadiums, and I have never really seen any problems. I think NFL crowds and college crowds must be different even though both are outside doing the same thing before the game.

Before the game I said I just wanted to get in there once, so I will have gone a game, now I want to go back, haha..

Oh, and Ohio State is really really good at football, and the Big Ten is holding them back.

Any chance we can sneak in Sammy Watkins with our second pick? I just LOVE watching Watkins catch the ball. It looks so natural, he just plucks it out of the air. Nothing ever gets in on his body..

I don't know who to compare Sammy Watkins too. Marquis Lee is a Marvin Harrison clone. Jordan Matthews plays like Jordy Nelson.

It was late and I didn't want to do a full breakdown but yes, he goes from catching the ball to changing direction and running as quickly as anybody I've ever seen.

He's a guy with Travis Benjamin like speed (only he's about 3" taller), and KWII like hands and is a pretty decent route runner... only problem is that he does come with some off-field concerns...

I was there too - took my son to his first game. He loved it, more so than the Browns game (he attended his first of those this year too). Our seats were in C deck, row 7 on about the 15 yard line on the closed end of the stadium. Great view and a really enjoyable time.

I knew the sound system and video in Cleveland was antiquated and needs replaced, but WOW, I had no idea how badly. The scoreboard and the sound system at the 'Shoe is amazing. I hadn't been there since they replaced it. Hopefully the Browns get a system as good as tOSU when it is replaced (I know that is part of the improvements they want to make).

A new scoreboard is coming. That's part of the $62 million upgrade I think (or all of it).
