Quote: Maybe, but it would definately be fair to say that the Colts Org.is doing way better than the Browns have, and probably will ever do.
It's not hard doing better than the Browns when you have arguably the best QB of all time for 10 years and then get to draft his replacement who could be just as good...
and really, if their FO did ANYTHING to get a decent defense they would/should have won multiple superbowls with Manning...
What I said was the cold, hard, naked truth. In the last 50 years the Colts have appeared in and won multiple SBs.The Browns have won nothing and appeared in nothing. Irsay may very well be a babbling idiot, but his teams are winners, while the Browns continue to be laughing stocks. Actually you could have saved some typing and just ended your post at
One problem with the superstar QB is that the money they command makes it difficult to maintain or build the rest of the team.
And yet with an exception here n there almost all Championship team has one.
Its not rocket science stuff. Rare skills for the NFL - Franchise QB is the rarest, then you have the Left Tackle...stud left tackle. Then its the Edge Rusher Extraordinaire...finally there is the cover corner. These are the RARE BREED...you keep these as much as possible...This is a team sport of course so all positions must be OK-Good-Great. My point is the rest are not rare skill sets to get one for your team. So that you don't have to spend a lot of money...and if you have a good one who is going for an extreme pay day...if need be you can replace them with youth - sometimes they end up better than the original.
But What I see is Franchise QB you got a shot to build a championship team. Most of the exceptions their QBs go on a run that is amazing. Ravens last year. Giants two recent SB w/Eli.
JMHO...we will be mediocre to ok maybe even good till we get that Franchise QB!
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!
Well... I am sure his confidence has collapsed. Again, not trying to kick him when he's down - but this should have happened earlier. Brown and even now Boom Herron (former Buckeye!) has been destroying Trent's rush numbers.
Mike Holmgren, where are you and your silly, unwanted and unneeded comments now?

Be careful with what you say, or he won't hook you up with playoff tickets.

Holmy don't play that! lol This is what 8 Mil/yr got us...fat lazy bum. I bet Holmy won't shoot his big fat mouth off when we get rid of his second favorite player!
Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!
The great QB guru and the Moneyball group: 1-15 Record of Criminal Haslam owned Browns: 20-60 (0.250)
By far the best trade/move a FO has made since rebirth. They might whiff on every other thing they do from here on out, but they knocked this one out of the park.
Against logic, the most effective armor is willful ignorance.
There were many of those when he was in Cleveland too. I am sure that's why the front office and coaches were perfectly happy to let him go.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
I won't speak for others, but I am completely over this trade. Strike up a "good decision" or "victory" or "we got the better half" - whatever you want to call it. I will happily take the first round pick, and pick up a RB in the 4-5th rounds that will yield more production than Trent did for us.
I was just so utterly convinced his rib injury was holding him back, but now... not at all. I almost do feel sincerely bad for the kid and the constant criticism that followed him from here to Indy about his abilities and production. Now being benched. His mindset has to be fully skewed.
Quote: So what’s wrong with running back Trent Richardson? Richardson essentially has said of the Colts, “It’s not me, it’s you.”
Via the good folks at StampedeBlue.com, receiver Reggie Wayne shared with Jake Query and Derek Schultz of WNDE radio comments Richardson made to the veteran wideout and de facto leader of the team after Richardson was benched this past weekend for Donald Brown.
“He came to me, he wasn’t pouting or anything,” Wayne said. “This was the next day after he found out he was demoted and he said, ‘Now I can sit back and actually watch the way it’s supposed to be done.’ He kind of feels that he was maybe forced into it early without actually learning it.”
It’s a common dynamic for offensive players acquired by a new team during the regular season. After spending weeks if not months studying and practicing and playing in a different system with different coaches and different players, it becomes difficult if not impossible to essentially change a tire on a moving car.
Really, when has an offensive player traded from one team to another during football season had an immediate and sustained impact? Missing pieces don’t get added on the fly; they get added in the offseason.
This means that Richardson could, with the benefit of a full offseason and training camp and preseason, learn the offense and the players and the coaches and become a significant contributor. Or maybe instead the Colts will decide to pay Donald Brown (who’s due to become a free agent in March) and keep him as the starter.
Running back is the one position where you really don't have to know the system. You get the ball, you know your play, but it's instincts and vision that lead you to positive yards, not understanding the system. LMAO>.......if any of you ever played RB, you know what a bogus statement that is.

TRich is becoming an Excuse Machine.
i don't like making these statements, but i'd take a SB winning WR over your opinion any day of the week.
your pee wee RB experience has nothing to do with the NFL. i played RB in high school, and i know my experience doesn't mean i know anything about being a RB in the Nfl, but what i DO know is that certain coaches and playbooks has different languages even in high school.
we had a RB from a different school play on our team one year because he moved into our district, and he had trouble running because it took him time remember what holes he needed to hit based off the different language of the playbook.
so, your whole statement is bogus. while RB is probably the easiest position to play, it isn't just pick up and go like you make it seem to be. i'm not giving T rich a pass cause he does suck, but maybe you're the one who needs to stop making bogus statements.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
just saying. when you throw words like BS and bogus all into one, it just gets to me. it's one thing as fans to be like "dude sucks, its BS". i do it all the time, and we have every right too. we essentially pay their salary.
its another to claim that he sucks based off of what little experience you have at whatever level of grade school you did it in.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
If I were to search for a history of your posts, what would I find? How about the last two? Take a look in the mirror, pal.
Now, can we get back to TRich and his abilities.........or do you two still wanna make this about me?
my comments are related to T rich's abilities, and your credibility on the subject line as RB vs a fan like the rest of us.
anyway, right now we fleeced the hell out of the colts. this guy has literally all the tools to be a great RB, except one: vision. that alone makes him below average. i don't know if he's running scared, or if he just runs with tunnel vision instead of scanning the field.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
Let's not beat around the bush. Your comments were meant to insult and discredit me.
You trying to belittle me w/immature comments about me playing grade school RB is not going to change how I post. I know the position and will continue to post about it and I really could care freaking less if you like it or not.

like you do to other people all the time?
i just posted football talk. stick to football. T rich is the topic.

Yeah, my last two posts were calling you out for being the jackass you so richly enjoy being.
The reason I made them is that almost every damn time I start reading a thread you pop up and start belittling someone or pounding your chest because you've proclaimed yourself "right" about something.
Or there is your classic, "Why do you hate this FO so much? You should hate the last regime like I do." gambit. You play that one almost as much as they play Geico commercials on TV.
I'm not the one being "Almighty", pal. You're the one with the superiority complex. I'm just one of the many that see it.

i posted already about T rich, thats the topic. jeez.
