Man, we like former Packers receivers.

He looks like a plus level kick returner.

Small kid...and sticking around in the NFL.
Probably has good hands and runs decent routes. No idea on his speed or quickness. Possibly to be groomed as the Punt Returner which we brought in Edwards for.

Of course just a guess. But has decent props for a small kid.

Was anyone overly impressed with Edwards? I was not. But I didn't want to see him get injured

he apparently ran a 4.22 40 yard dash ... yikes

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Looks like Dunn runs the 40 in under 4.3. I've seen two reports. One that says he runs it in 4.22 and the other in 4.29.

Source.

Ironically, the one above was run for the Steelers.

On his pro day he ran a 4.22. Wow, that's fast!

Clocked at 4.22 at his Pro Day at Utah, Steelers rookie kick returner Reggie Dunn said he ran a 4.29 in front of Steelers coaches at OTAs recently.

Tribune-Review columnist Joe Starkey penned a great piece on rookie kick returner Reggie Dunn for Sunday's edition. In that, Dunn told him he ran a 4.29 40-yard-dash for the Steelers coaches "the other day."

As Starkey says, "anything below 4.3 is pretty sick."

Colbert talks about Reggie Dunn
The legend of the undrafted rookie from Utah comes up on a conference call with season ticket holders.

Throwing speed way out of the way (which is hard to do), the real question Dunn needs to answer is how high his arc is as a receiver. Is this a player the Steelers can see getting on the field in a year or two? Even this year?

Odds aren't good, considering a team's need for depth and versatility, especially at wide receiver. Recent kickoff rules have resulted in scores of touchbacks, meaning, he'd be a threat, and little else, on kickoffs - where his long speed is best utilized.

But speed is speed, and a weapon is a weapon. There are maybe five players in the entire NFL who can run as fast as he can, and a big kick return is just as valuable to an offense as a 40-yard completion.

Especially when those 40 yards are covered in a shade over four seconds.

And the next head coach is ......

Brian Tyms was one of our WRs in the last game.

He was involved in one play but I can't remember it. I recall it being mentioned in some recap of the game focusing on Burfict.

4.29 is pretty damn fast. Question is, can he run a route and catch a football? Or is he just another Alexander Wright or Freddie Mitchell

Brian Tyms got bailed out on a quick whistle when Burfict made him fumble after the catch... I think we were in the red zone at that point but don't remember for sure.

Insane numbers. Man is on fire. My forty time downhill now hovers around a week and a half if it is a running start downhill with a tailwind and a healthy shove to get it started. Stopping is out of the question. We could use a speed merchant to return. Shades of the Mighty Metcalf!

Josh Cooper's back?

Clearly this means that we're going to be switching QB back to Weeden.
