Any less of a man? No. Any less informed?...........

To think that we could go in with Harrison or Barclay as our punt returner..........or to suggest either can do the job........yeah, it's unfortunate. There's nothing to either guy to suggest they can return punts.

Both guys are nobodies. Neither is an even remote consideration to return punts. To suggest we can throw either guy back there is foolhardy.

The very least we need is a college guy who's done the job on a regular basis before and projects to the NFL level. The only one that's really on the current roster than can do that is Perkins. Outside of him, the only shot is someone not currently on the roster.

Bottom line: I hate Homerism, whether that's Georgia Homerism, or Homerism that pines for Williams Green to be back because he's a "good talent"

Hall would be worth the money simply to return punts. God knows guys like Barclay and Harrison stand outside chances of making the roster because they do very little for the team, let alone return punts.

And King, it took me 10 seconds to find those stats on punt returners. Any fool can find'em. Being knowledgeable enough to figure out what it means takes even less time. There's enough lunacy around here as it is with Homers. We don't need random suggestions that any old backup RB/free agent pickup can do the job as well as someone like Hall.

We have millions under the cap, and stiffs taking up roster spots. We can do far worse than spending $1.5 mil on someone like Hall, especially since we're letting someone like Cribbs take up a spot just to return kicks...........
