I'm still torn on Carr, but he has two of the respected board draftniks on here in his corner with Mourg and Steve. This board is all over the place with its QB rankings, so whoever we take it will be followed by endless discussions between the disappointed, the angry, the happy and the homers

I'm no draftnik but I don't mind Carr either. I wouldn't take him at #4, but I wouldn't be totally upset if we took him at #26.
Methinks that his name being 'Carr' is just driving (see what I did there?) some people nuts. Derek Carr isn't his brother David.

Carr...truly is a DEVELOPMENTAL QB.
Yes, they should be taken 3rd or 4th round but because of the position they do move up where you have to reach for them a bit if you want them.
Now I did take a look at him. He didn't play many Defenses to be able to evaluate him. His footwork was not that good his accuracy was not that good - I saw him hit a lot of short passes that got a lot of YAC.
The only thing I don't like is - We have done this before. BQ #22 Weeden #22 and now we will do it with CARR #26.
My fear is that this might fall under the realm of "INSANITY" you know: doing the same thing over n over n over again expecting a different Result.
Just putting that out there. This is also Farmer's signature draft, Why I think we will not take QB at 4 unless it is Teddy. I'm sure he has a QB in mind.
Again this guy is saying from more than one source - who is that source Grossi? If somebody employed w/Browns leaked this...they will not be employed in the future.
Lombardi? ehhh I think he's not looking to burn bridges if he has to someday trade or deal with Farmer? Our Browns writers. who just did their Mock draft?
"SOURCES" just means somebody anybody told him. Valid sources???
And why would we have this leaked out now. I'm sure Farmer has his preferences close to his vest.

I really don't like Carr for all the reasons I stated.
Grading Carr is not even a board issue. I just think he stinks.
Of course, guys like him always shoot up the charts this time of year. He looks like a QB. He has a big arm. He put up huge numbers.
No one really cares that he is gutless, inaccurate when even slightly pressured, and doesn't go through his progressions. Nah, those things aren't important.

If we don't draft certain players, that certain posters like...
We obviously have failed as a team, and our FO has no idea what it's doing... And older FOs would have done much better...
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
