A lot of classics, muscle cars, sports cars... I've never been much of a car guy, I would like to own a sports car but it wouldn't be my first choice. Give me a jacked up rag top jeep that I can clean with a hose... on the inside.. and i'll be happy.

**bump.** 1990: When the 1st version of this car came out, I almost fell on the floor. Bleeding-edge tech, aggressive lines, first all-aluminum production car, and aspirations of going toe-to-toe with the best of Europe's 'exotics.' Unbelievable amount of car... for around $64K. 2015: It's baaaaack. The Acura NSX.

Last year I brought a Camaro to my parent's house, from the dealership. Just like you do that special girl. Didn't yet buy it. My father and I took it for a spin. The visibility is horrible on the sides of the car and the inside is cramped. I was very close to buying one anyhow, but the back wheel drive is a turn off for me. Yes, I know it's a muscle car but I would rather have front wheel drive because of the snow. You almost need to just store it for the winter and buy something else with front wheel drive.
I have an orange Camaro (GO BROWNS!) and let me tell you its a sexy car but not so much functional. It took me about a month before I got comfortable driving it because the side visibility is down right scary at times (my wife won't drive it). The back seat is laughable but it can hold a baby car seat. The inside is small but I guess I am used to it now, I think its comfortable and I am 6'3. I have to duck getting in and out of the car but I clear the roof with about 2 inches.
The snow???I think I pooped my pants at least 4 times driving in the snow these past winters, some very scary moments lol. I just knew I was going to die, no lie.
I think my dream car is a 1970 Chevelle SS. I love the look, the sound, the attitude. Paint that baby Cleveland Brown Orange with white stripes, some cool pin striping and 20 inch chrome wheals! This car is way before my time but I will get one, one day.

I've got one of those. 1987 Chevrolet Celebrity Classic. Other than the known fact that a celebrity would not be seen dead in one, it's been a great car.

I'm a pretty practical person, so I honestly don't want a Ferrari or something crazy like that. I would worry too much about driving it over speed bumps and stuff (scraping up the lower bumper and underside).
I did own a Subaru WRX STi. Man, that car could fly! The wing on the back was a little obnoxious, but otherwise, it was a phenomenal car.
One day, when I have my gajillion dollars just sitting around waiting to be spent, I could see myself going out and getting a BMW M3. Man, those are so slick, but they're not too out there. That, or a Tesla.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Scraping is just a matter of two things: 1) Being careful driving over speed bumps 2) Accepting it will happen and move on My Viper scrapes if I'm not careful with how I go up driveways and such, so do most sports cars. The STi as a rally car isn't going to have such low ground clearance. It limits the top end but does make it better for streets/dirt/gravel/mud I agree with you on Tesla's. They are awesome and functional too. a 7 seater sedan with a frunk for your luggage is the future

I like cars that don't look like spacecraft, so the Scaglietti is the Ferrari for me.

Lamborghini Murcielago...Used to be the Countach until the Murcielago came out.
But unless I was so filthy rich that certain posters on this board considered me a 1%er, I think I'd rather have a kit-car replica, with a Vette engine.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.

Those are nice. I'd like to build one if I ever have time. Factory Five (not that I'm biased or anything ) makes some nice vehicles. I've had the opportunity to drive a GTM and they are very nice. The problem is the transmission will cost you upwards of 3-12k depending upon how you option it as it uses a G50 Porsche 911 transmission. Any of the nice ones will run 8-12k that will handle the type of power most want to put through it. To build a nice one is around 100k from what I've seen, but you'll have a one of a kind supercar when you are done.

I want a Mini Cooper convertible. I suppose that's girly, and they are probably crappy cars, but they are just so darn cute!!

The Porsche Transaxles were the weak link because those G50's can't handle the torque of a V8. But now Mendeola makes a transaxle that can take 650ft lb of torque and the GTM is now made to use that one. It costs $10k as you said.

It has 4 doors.
It is not a Jeep...
