I have a daughter about her age name Kaitlyn. Course, my wife won't let me dress her for school, since I "have no taste". Other wise, she'd be going like that more than just occasionally.

What would everyone think about a kids album? I could caption pics with "DC's daughter Caitlyn" for example. I think they should have to be in team colors to get in the album.

Well tell mommy that she is stifling the poor girls sense of self by not allowing her to pick her own Browns ge... clothes out. My wife gets very mad at our 10 year old son, who never matches, and she tries, with no results to try to get him to care that his clothes don't match... I keep telling her, he's a 10 year old boy, he'll start caring what his clothes look like the day he starts caring whether or not girls are noticing... until then, you are fighting a losing battle.

ummm.. let me think this through... do I want to come between another man and his wife about how they dress their daughter... uh, no. Do this, take a picture of my Caitlyn and show it to her.. I may be biased but she looks so darn cute in that outfit... how could your wife refuse to let your little girl dress that way once in a while? But first things first.. go to Target and get her a pair of those perfectly matched orange shorts...

May be hysterical now, but trust me, that night I wasn't laughing too hard - and hence, now I seldom get to pick out my daughter's clothes - for some odd reason, my wife doesn't think I'm capable. (but my daughter is almost 7 now, so when I do dress her, I ask "does this go with that, and are we missing anything that mommy would do?"
My daughter helps me get her dressed in a manner that mommy would approve of, i.e. we now have a top AND a bottom!
