The Texans have Case Keenum, TJ Yates, and Ryan Fitzpatrick on their QB roster. They already have two 1st round and a second round pass rusher on their roster. I don't understand the thinking behind taking anything but a QB at number one overall. Last year the Chiefs acquired Smith to be the started. For some reason the Jags new coach thought they could make something out of Gabbert. Cards had traded for Palmer. Eagles had two QBs. Lions had Stafford. The year before that Luck and Griffin went 1, 2. The year before that Newton went #1. Bradford in 2009.

It's got to be a QB for Houston IMO.

I think they will take Clowney (or some team will trade up for him) and then take their QB later in the draft with Fitzpatrick going into training camp as the starter.

Do you think Bridgewater is injured?

The pushing the ball thing you noted seems unusual to me.

I didnt put stock in the injury rumors when i first heard it but then when you see his mechanics on his pro day and the simple passes you expect a guy with this kind of talent to make literally blindfolded, it makes you wonder if more is going on there.

Lets be realistic, when a QB injuries his wrist, he has trouble feeling the ball and thus gripping the ball and in turn the mechanics change. Not sure if this was the case but, he was not the same qb we saw during the season.
