League execs think 1-2 year deal in Miami

Which is what most have been saying all along. If I were him, I wouldn't jump back to Cleveland with this roster (or at least before knowing if Kyrie can win and stay healthy and what kind of player Wiggins will be).

I would probably join the Rockets or try building another super team (Melo, Pau, etc.) in Miami before just treading water in Miami with Bosh and Wade.

I think a lot of this "Lebron Watch 2014" is either Lebron toying with the media or him truly doing his due diligence. I don't think he's out to hurt Gilbert and the Cleveland fans, but that will be the #1 storyline once his choice is announced ("Sorry Cleveland, you got burned AGAIN!").

And while Ill say LeBron hasn't personally come out and said it, cause he hasn't said anything..

His "camp" of people have been driving the Lebron Return train at high speeds, between his agent, his wife, then you add in the media..

Cleveland fans share some "blame" this time, but not all of it..

Sidenote: Steven A Smith on ESPN just now said Clevelands a good spot, unless Bosh leaves and Miami gets Melo, because apparently LeBron and Melo playing 2 on 5 every game is a great team...

Some pictures on Twitter of exotic car moving vans in front of Lebron's house. If he's doing this to jilt Cleveland again, he's certainly going the extra mile.

I do think, however, that this is his chance to return to Cleveland, and that he may not have another chance anytime soon ...... at least not as a max type player.

If the Cavaliers have Irving as a max player, and sign another max deal this year, then maybe they could manage to add one more next year ...... but maybe not. Maybe they only wind up able to add a solid, though not max type deal.

They have so much flexibility right now, and that isn't going to improve in coming years. I think they have a 2 year window in which to make as much hay as they can ...... using all of the assets they have put in place. They can't "freeze" Irving at his current level of pay. He is going to keep getting more and more expensive. Neither can they do so if they add another max deal this year. They have Haywood's non-guaranteed contact, which is a huge asset ...... but that has to be used next year to be used to maximum effect. I don't think that the Cavaliers can afford to wait for Lebron if he passes this time around. I think that they move on, and it will be hard to make room to fit him in once this window closes. (again, without dismantling whatevcer they manage to build over the next 2 years)

Big decision for Lebron. It will be interesting to see what he does.

I see it as him doing his due diligence. The official free agency signing period hasn't even started yet. As far as I know, he hasn't done anything to lead Cleveland on and a lot of the speculation about him returning has revolved around circumstantial evidence and anonymous sources... which we might as well just call made up 'reports'.

If he leaving Miami, kudos to him for meeting with Riley face to face. That is the right way to do it and I would be glad to know he learned from the debacle that was The Decision.

Talks back on between Bosh and the Rockets "just in case" .........

(And I find it hard to believe that Bosh and Wade don't have a fairly good idea what Lebron is going to do)

Melos camp is basically saying "Get the money from NY, work out a trade later"

Cause that worked so well for him last time..

Hahaha, and I saw a pic on Facebook of LeBron's kids at an airport, waiting to catch a plane... to Cleveland.

Doesn't LeBron live in Akron in the off-season?

Wouldn't it then make sense that he would want his cars where he lives?

Early leak from Miami?

LeBron leaves Miami as per Miami news.

Edit: There's another article on the site saying he's staying.

Here's something I just thought about..

LeBron is meeting with Riley, free agency "begins" tomorrow..

He has yet to even talk to Cleveland. Yeah, they have room to offer him a max deal.. but they HAVENT offered him anything yet..

Maybe I'm overly pessemistic right now, I just think its way to easy for Riley to say "Trust me, I got this" and boom its done..

Who knows.

Rhoda just tweeted that out of the Nike meetings yesterday they told lebron they prefer him to go to cleveland because of the marketing they plans they have in mind, and both parties would make more money there

I do think Lebron realizes the Arison isn't commited to spending money, in turn no amount of magic riley can work will allow him to field a better team that they had. I don't think a george lopez "I Got this" is going to work..I think he's going to want to see exactly how.

I am busy at work but saw during lunch that his kids were in an airport in Ft. Lauderdale waiting today for a flight to Cleveland and
There was another picture of moving trucks at his house in Florida and they looked to have just loaded up one of his rides.

Absolutely, but if he wouldn't come without Love, or another star, then you have to do it. You would assume the wolves would demand wiggins in a trade, but you never know. maybe they take TT, Waiters, and a pick..

That's why I think a lot of this is premature. I seriously doubt he's going to come back to Cleveland without a face to face meeting with Gilbert, the coach, and the powers that be. I mean sure, he left that way, but I don't think he will come back that way.

If there is an announcement today I don't think it bodes well for Cleveland. I take that back, the only announcement that would bode well for Cleveland is that he has decided to not return to Miami.. and Cleveland is really the only other team being discussed so that would be good.. but he's not going to rule out teams I don't think.. he's going to make an announcement and be done with it... I hope.

Maybe, maybe not.

He doesn't like Gilbert, and hasn't spoken to him in over four years. I could see a frosty working relationship. Let your agent do the talking.

And I don't think he ever cared much about who his coach is.

I still worry Cleveland is working itself up for more hurt.

He has talked to Cleveland. His agent has been here and met and possibly Z went to Miami to talk to Lebron.
