Nope.
I'll say it again, you guys might wanna do some research before you just up and back Israel like they did nothing wrong. Or ask a Muslim. There's always two sides to the story.
Not everyone that sides with Israel is ignorant of the history of the conflict. Personally, I think culpability lies with both sides.
There are quite a few. IMO, I think it's he majority of Americans who don't know the background. They side with Israel because here in America, liking Muslims is anti-American.

I don't have anything against Muslims. All of the Muslims I have known are very nice people.
I asked the question because I was wondering if there can be a peaceful resolution to this. It takes two people to fight. If you remove one of the fighters (Hamas), would it bring peace to the region?
It was the only logical question that Hamas be removed since obviously Israel isn't going anywhere.
I am not pro Israel. Both parties have blood on their hands and point fingers at each other. Neither is blameless.

Pretty sure this is the ultimate goal of each party.

Issac son's have been warring with Esau's sons for over 3000 years. Nothing you say or do will ever make it stop. God at one point told King Saul to kill every last man, woman, child, and livestock of the Amalekites. Palestinians are directly descended from them.
The kicker is that as children of Esau they have every right to be pissed lol. Poor Esau all he did was to be born first and have God make his mother love his brother more. Course as a people they seem to be good at getting beat up by thier younger brother's intelligence too lol.

It won't end the fighting.
The only way the fighting ends is it Israel gives up Jerusalem. then MAYBE. but even then if you take the Hamas out, you have Iran and any other radical Muslim country wanting to end Israel.
From a personal perspective, Israel should've never got their country in the first place. It was a pity move by Americans and other country to grant Israel that land. But people keep forgetting that the Palestinian people were already there. When they made Israel an official country, Israelis started purging Palestinian citizens out of the area.
I believe the US needs to stay out of middle eastern business, because we are raging hypocrites.
Why did we grant Israel their own nation, yet Kurdish have been looking for their own country for how long?
Also, the fact that America and Israel are the only country that opposes Palestine joining the UN, just makes it harder to side with my own country when it comes to this issue.
Oh, and that America is funding Israel, officially siding with the Jews in what is clearly a holy war.
Look, the fact that Israelis took their country back and are defending it, I don't have a problem with it. The country who is right is the country who wins the war.
My problem? Is that Israel is winning, but not because of them solely.. They have he most powerful country in the world with the most powerful military in the world not only giving hem billions in aid, but giving them military equipment.
When you pick sides in a middle eastern holy war, I'm not siding with anybody. Because it's wrong.

Do you have any proof of that? From what I remember Jews have been calling everyone who they disagree with as Amalekites.

Thank you for answering my question in more detail. And I agree that the United States needs to stay out of Middle Eastern business. It does nothing but breed bad blood and makes us a target.

Pretty much. I mean as myself being Turkish, I have my own problems with Palestinians, even though it's mostly history of the two countries that have no bearing on my thought process.
So I don't really like Palestine. But when I see BS, I call it out, and in this case, America should have no say so in what is happening over there.

Yes, they have a habit of doing that. However in this case its true and part of their ancient claim to the land. It's part of what makes their claim legitimate.

But again, do you have any proof? I've seen everyone from Nazis, Gypsys, Zionists and Palestinians be called Amalekites.

I have a question......If Mexico started firing rockets across our borders, how long do you think it would be, before we leveled them? I think Israel has needed to do this for a long time.
We wouldn't do anything. Obama would just go to a fundraiser.

You kidding? Texas itself would declare war and Mexico city would be the new Alamo in about a week. The only real fight would be from the drug lords.
Hell I think about 80% of Mexico would vote to be a state right now if we let them. They would do it for minimum wage alone.

If your asking me to post legions of genealogy reports no I won't do that. It is common knowledge that the Palestinian are Edomites which are the direct decedents of Esau though. Numerous articles have been posted on it and you can just google it.
An interesting article from a source I don't necessarily like also shares this info. http://www.cuttingedge.org/News/n2095.cfm
They are biased though so you might not like the source. Feel free to read this article though because it has a lot of good information. It also has some good insights as to why the rest of the middle east hate the Palestinians too. Especially Jordan which has a majority population of them. Pales. are treated like dirt everywhere int he middle east. They tried to rebel against the Jordan king too and many of them died. Even if the Palestinian state were wiped out if would not come close to the amount Jordan killed. Read the article you will gain a TON of insight.
you also have this as well:
In an open letter to Winston Churchill on 16 March 1921, the Palestinian newspaper clearly stated: "The first to settle in Palestine in the earliest antiquity were none other than the Amalekite Arabs, our early ancestors."

The article was fairly biased and no facts other than some guesses that Palestine = Amalekites, that could only be seen as factual if you already believed that Palestine = Amalekites.
The existence of Israel is just one gigantic double standard and I'm surprised that people are so adamant in their defense. If the Gods of a Native American tribe promised the Natives that they could have their land back, would you criticize NA's if they began killing Americans who owned land?
The Israel and Palestine war is modern day racism and borderline eugenics at best.

Not if it was in response to rockets being lobbed into their civilian areas.

That logic doesn't work in a civilized world, this is not Game of Thrones or the 1700s. We have laws and rules that prevent people from committing crimes which will harm the people. Forcing someone to leave their home is committing a crime which will be punishable by the rules of the people.
Thats what PRPL pretty much just said. Rules of the people, and the enforcement arm of those people(police) keeps you from doing that. However what he said is correct, if you were big enough and bad enough to get on it and can stay on it, then it is yours.
Right now, the Israelis are bad enough(with our backing) to claim that as their land. The Palestineans disagree and are fighting for it. Whoever wins, its their land

I just dont think there will ever be peace because both sides feel they have ancient claims to the land. Both sides view it as much a holy war as anything else and wont stop till they are probably dead.
It is the crusades all over again. People of European decent including Americans would rather see the Jew who crucified Christ running the holy land than the Muslims. That's just how it is.
The Jew have the US's protection so the Palestinians have no chance to ever win. They will keep using the only tactic left to them which will just keep everyone hating them more. eventually Israeli troops will en up wiping them out in retaliation and it will start world war 3. When The entire Middle east uses Israel's ruthless attack against to justify taking Israel out. Israel will use nukes. No telling how bad it gets. the US will stand by Israel sides and China will protect the oil it so badly needs.
If Palestinian wants to survive they will have to surrender to their fate. It might not be fair but it is reality. Israel would help it self a LOT by building new and quality home for them. I don't see that happening until Hamas is gone. there are plenty of Pales who have nothing to do with Hamas. It's up to the to take control of their people back. The World wont do it for them.
No one wants to hear that but it is the truth.

You are correct in that his analogy doesn't work in a civilized world... as soon as most of the middle east becomes part of the civilized world, then I guess the same rules will apply to them.
And the land belongs to Israel, based on the law and as recognized by the UN and on the map, the land is owned and governed by Israel... so by your logic, when Hamas sends so much as a grenade over the fence, it's an act of war and Israel should be free to obliterate them. Not advocating that but....
