A Cleveland Browns fan posted a video on YouTube showing himself urinating beside Art Modell's grave in Pikesville, Maryland.

The unidentified man in the video, titled "Browns Fan 'Pays Respects' to Modell," arrives at the gravesite dressed in a Baltimore Ravens Ed Reed jersey. He then pulls it off to reveal a Browns Lyle Alzado No. 77 jersey and apparently urinates on Modell's grave out of the bottom of his pants leg using a catheter.

[+] EnlargeArt Modell
Richard Ellis/AFP/Getty ImagesArt Modell was celebrated in Baltimore when he moved his team there in 1996 but he's still hated by many fans in Cleveland.

Afterward, he speaks to the camera:

"You know, Art, when you ... tried to kill the Cleveland Brownie, you didn't do so good, the Browns fans wouldn't let you, you piece of s---," he says. "I'm in rat land and I'm going to use the words you used a few years ago.

"As far as pissing on your grave, I had no choice."

When Modell moved the team to Baltimore in 1996, he said he had "no choice."

The video has received nearly 10,000 hits. A spokeswoman for the cemetery told The Baltimore Sun that the Browns fan's decision to urinate beside Modell's grave "disappointing and disrespectful." Police did not immediately respond to the paper on the situation and its legality.

Dumb.

Can't stand the guy, didn't care when he died, but when you consider the guy had a family, this looks really bad. One guy doesn't make up a fan base but you know how people will take this and run with it.

I didn't like it when that blubbering jackass, Big Dawg, presumed to speak for Browns' fans before Congress, of all places, and I don't like this loser either. He doesn't speak for me. I'm over Modell.

It seems like Cleveland can't seem to handle success/positive attention well. Sad that he represents the "average" Cleveland fan to the nation.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Funny in a sports-world kinda way, but that's it.

As much as I loathed Modell, and as much as I would dream of doing such a thing in some revenge fantasy ...... I would never desecrate someone's grave like that.

Well said. He's dead. He's gone.

However, if he was alive I'd def pee in/on a shoe or 3 of his.

And that's either with his foot in it OR out of it,

As far as being disrespectful, I have no respect for the man. But I do have a little self respect and he does have a family. The youtube video is embedded so I can't post it.

But after watching it, I saw no evidence the guy actually peed on his grave. But here is one from a local Baltimore sports news report.

The actual youtube video was not suited to post anyway. There is really no excuse for this behavior.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

While I would have loved to pee on his grave it was only a thought. I would have never have followed through with it. Football is a game, it is not real life, and what this guy did was out of line. However maybe he thought it was a payback for all of the years we had to wade through ankle deep pee in the bathrooms in the old Browns stadiums where it was normal for the guy next to you to pee on your leg and your shoes.

A Lyle Alzado jersey? Couldn't find another player to root for in 30sum years?

This guy's a jag. I don't care how you feel about anyone - don't desecrate a gravesite.

People like this guy, those who camp out at LeBron's house, and others who trumpet a racial caricature almost make me embarrassed to follow these teams.

It was a totally classless act.

Plus, if he felt so compelled why didn't he just whip it out and pee instead of cowardly wearing an Ed Reed jersey and running a cath down his pant leg? Totally classless and a coward to boot.

An Ed Reed jersey. Really?!.

How many of you, even in disguise, could wear an Ed Reed jersey?

Its funny listening to those Baltimore news castors. They are talking about all Model did for Baltimore like it should freaking matter to someone from Cleveland. Don't they realize what they are bragging about is exactly what has a man like that pissed off enough to tinkle on art's grave? It's like having the man who stole your wife complain your pissed. We had a playoff caliber team that would have won the superbowl in Cleveland. I sure ain't seen that team returned just yet. Have you? All I've seen is a poor excuse of one(hoping that has changed with Farmer).

Art's dead and that headstone don't mean a thing. Hopefully the vandal can move on now. The next rain will have it all cleaned off. Art got off easy in my eyes. Lol be glad he didn't take a dump!

Just embarrassing to me as a browns fan and I am sure it wil allow Cleveland to be the brunt of jokes again.

On the lighter side - he should have waited until it snowed.

Imo the most pathetic fanbase in all of sports.

I can remember the crying and the hatred for Irsay when he moved their beloved Colts to Indianapolis in 1984. How dare he???

However, knowing what happened to them in 1984 and the grief, sadness and tears they shed, in 1995 they were downright ecstatic to steal and embrace another cities team and laugh at it's fans.

I literally hate Rat fans. Absolutely pathetic people.

If you go out and just look at some of the comments on the Browns facebook page, or Johnny Manziels instagram....you realize just how dumb and low class the general population of Cleveland is. I grew up there, in the city, but I am always amazed at how much ignorance there is.

This is no different.

My thought:

We kept Art Modell out of the HOF. That is enough for me. If he would have made it in, then I would have had no issue with people repeatedly stealing his bust.

I have seen the browns play the colts in Bmore and the indians play in old stadium and Camden yards and I will say without a doubt the Bmore fans are the worst...

Ignoranat of sports and just plain idiotic inbreds, I dont like Steelers fans but at least most of them understand the game.

As much as I dislike what Modell did he didn't deserve this much disrespect.

After a few beers, it would sound like a great revenge idea, but most ideas after a few beers are horrible. He was a person, had a family, it was just business/football, and it was his freaking grave! Plus, we got a team back and he probably won't get into the HOF too. I won't forgive him, but I've moved on.

I feel bad for the guy that did this horrible act and how Cleveland fans will be perceived after seeing this. Just bad all around.

I have no problem with this Browns fan showing his disdain for Art Modell.

What Art did hurt a lot of people and while some are ready to forgive and forget what Art did, some are not. While it might seem like "long ago" for some fans...for others, it may seem like just yesterday...who am I to judge this fan's pain?

...it's not like he pulled down his pants and took a Modell on old Art.

I have not, and probably never will, forgive and forget Modell's actions. My heart was broken over the "The Move" in such a way I can't even explain. I probably don't need to anyway since many of you experienced the same, exact thing.

I could never commit such an inhuman act of peeing on the man's grave but short of that I have no forgiveness for what he did.

I was divorced many years ago. I don't hate my ex though for a while I did. I wouldn't pee on her grave either. In fact I'll lend a hand and help her out on occasion. But it's not because I've forgotten. I have forgiven but I can never forget.

In Modell's instance, I can neither forgive nor forget. But I still must remain true to myself and not allow myself to commit acts or even say harsh, hurtful things that could get back to his family.

He is gone now. I feel bad for is wife and children he left behind. That is real life and cannot be dismissed. I have to restrain myself so as not to be inhuman in my actions.

The peeing thing, that's classless.

Not to dismiss the act itself, but I think the manner really highlights what a classless move it was.

He wore an Ed Reed jersey ("camoflage"), and then took it off to reveal a Browns jersey. He used a catheter to conceal what he was doing.

He acts like he's making this grand statement, but those two things highlight that he's a wuss, and fears more about being caught than what he's trying to say.

This particular Browns Fan doesn't represent me.

I understand the anger at Modell, I feel the same way, but I never wished death on the man and I won't dance (or anything else) on his grave either.

Classless...

I could never urinate on someone's grave no matter what they did, and I don't condone it either. It's sad this guy kind of represents Cleveland in the media.

But I was heartbroken after the move to Baltimore .... and what makes me continue to be heartbroken is the fact that the "new" Browns are a SHELL of what the old ones were. We stink. We were not given a fair shot in 1999, and we've never recovered. It's sad.

We were given a crappy team. But I'm not going to blame Model for the team still being no better than an expansion team 15 years later. That's on the stupid people that have run this franchise since 1999.

I also don't believe that just because the Ravens won the Superbowl in 2000 that had the Browns stayed we would have won. Playing in a different Stadium, in a different climate perhaps the outcomes of games would have been different. A snowy windy day could have cost them a game here or there.

Model moved, I'll always dislike him for that, but in the end he was a sports team owner. Peeing on his grave is pathetic.

I suppose my question is, what kind of a real Browns fan would be caught dead in an Ed Reed jersey?
