So, Krause cut by morning?
Manziel looks pretty good. Shoulda dumped off to fullback rather than run on 4th Down, though. Manziel put that last one on the receiver's worst spot: right on the hands.
Didn't see Hoyer on 1st half yet. It's on DVR. Check later.
Hoyers stats are terrible but he looked 100x better than his stats.
He had 2 or 3 passes droped by his receiverss, and a 3 really ugly passes. (2 long passes, and one thrown at Austin's feet)
Man, that play showed just how good Kruger was at swtting the edge last year. he rarely got swarmed under like that.

More than an average rookie???
I saw a few nice passes. No terrible mistakes yet. Poor decision on the 4th-and-1: shoulda dumped off to FB in the flat, but still got the 1st.
He is playing with (and against) second-teamers.
Jury's still out as far as I can see.

Goes to show how poorly our backup OLBs have set the edge tonight.
Hw many times has he said it? Well, how many times have we been gashed wide tonight?

Ah, yes, preseason game one. Every 2nd half drive ends with a fumble, INT, or FG, or occasional long TD run on a blown defensive play.

correct... no more than an average rookie.
the good news is that we have a capable QB in Hoyer who can keep the seat warm until JF can get up to speed. Jury's still out as far as I can see.

more times than one would like, but so it happens if you crash your ends down..
I thought the scheme was pretty good, at times they did lose gap integrity and the OLB's are coming too flat IMO.
On a few of those , tackling more than scheme was the issue, as a matter of fact that would be my biggest concern, very poor tackling overall.

Just means the offense is in mid-season form: our most dangerous offensive weapon is the place kicker.

I think Desir looks the most lost of anyone on the team tonight.
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Especially noticeable at OL. Sometimes you can "plug" WRs in to a system ... not the case with scrub OL

Just about to say that McFadden made a nice play ... then he gets toasted

So our CBs will probably be Haden, Gilbert, Skrine, Desir,Trufant, and ?

Questionable on Desir. Perhaps Poyer and Audrey. Leon McFadden has never really impressed me.

Westerman looked slower than any other NFL player on that play

Man....it was fun to watch Manziel play. I watched every A&M game last year and just love watching this kid play football.
I'm not sure who Gabriel is (shame on me) but he's had a pretty solid game.

I see late-game play calling is up to mid-season form, too.
2nd-and-five, Woody Hayes up the middle.

We're just getting used to setting up for late game losses

Our coverage teams seem very wary right now
