I think that we will do 3 things.
1) Dump Manziel
2) Sign Mark Sanchez
3) Draft a QB
I think that we will win 9-10 games next year.

I like Connor Shaw,but we don't have an NFL starter on our roster. I'm not sure what there is to like about Shaw. he's better than Maziel, but since when does no ability but a willingness to try garner such respect. That's where we're at. As long as someone acts like they care, we respect them.

My wife is giving me a lecture about why I ever bother to get excited for this team. "In the 13 years we've been together when have they ever come through." I know honey, I know. Dang. Sundays are hers now. Oh the times we'll have at Bed Bath and Beyond. My wife and I have been together for 21 years. She understands the misery of being a Browns fan. Instead of her finding something productive to do on Sundays, she has been sucked into the black hole that is Cleveland Browns fandom.... For that, I hate myself!!!

Reddog, I said I like him, but he is not an NFL quarterback. I meant I think he's a good guy and not a jerk, but he just ain't it. We need to start from scratch. I don't want to anoint JFF the starter next year just so he can prove he sucks. Square One.

I think that we will win 9-10 games next year. As much as I have hated Sanchez since he played at USC (well, every QB ever from that school), I could get behind that decision. Manziel has really shown that he has no business being a QB in the NFL. Seven quarters or not, the most important decision maker on the field can't seem to make even marginally intelligent decisions off the field. I'm done with him and if becomes the QB for the Browns next year, I will not be a Browns fan any more.

I have never been a Sanchez fan. At all. However, I do think that he can be effective in the limited type role the Browns want their QB to handle.
Pettine reportedly really likes Sanchez. I think that he'll be here next year, and will come in as the starter.

The Cleveland Browns deserved to be laughed at and disrespected. What else has this franchise earned in the last 15 years? And yes, I understand other teams fans laughing at us as fans. How stupid do you have to be to follow a PERENNIAL LOSER? It has been FIFTY years since the Browns won anything. FIFTY. Let that sink in. Simply unbelievable. A wasted lifetime for many of us.
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.

It would be nice to resign Hoyer, unload JM, JG and the other JG.
As much as this team has sucked at drafting, it would be refreshing to see an FO that says "Okay, we screwed the pooch on these guys. We getting rid of them and moving forward and only drafting hard-working, high character guys with talent."
That would speak volumes for their "accountability and play like a Brown" montra.
