Seems like it. Another body to add to the room.... Hell we have no idea if West or Crowell can run effectively in our new scheme.... So if they took this kid they must think HE can for SURE....

I'm ok with this, perfect back for the zone scheme and WCO - and he'll be KR. Not my top choice, but decent pick.
I hope we move 2 of our 4ths and a 5th or 6th to move back into the 3rd.

I fully expect us to trade back into the 3rd round again. We simply have too many picks to use today.

We aren't running the ZB scheme Didn't Flip say he was staying with the scheme? Last I heard he said something like he was going to run both. But that's what Horton said about the 4-3 and how did that work out? I seriously doubt we run two deifferent blocking schemes. That would be stupid. Everyone would be confused every play. If he's samrt he just runs what he KNOWS. But we will see. I really think we will be straight up blocking and the ZB left with Shanahan.

We take.... Duke Johnson RB A solid pick, but I really thought it was going to be QB here... I had a feeling we'd be taking a RB at some point. Look for a FB in the later rounds. I have a feeling they are moving to a more traditional straight up blocking, FB kind of running game. Think Jets back in the day when they were ground and pound. Could be wrong.

Duke Johnson was easily the 2nd best RB I saw in this draft, at least as a natural runner.
When people get ahold of his highlights, they are going to be really excited.

We have 4 currently in camp, and unless one of these guys is a clear upgrade, then I don't know if we take "just a body". I like Mannion, but that doesn't mean that the team does.

So our line will have to learn two blocking schemes and will have to switch between schemes from play to play. Running backs will have to learn how to run in two different schemes and from play to play will have to change the way they run. He also says that it will be the same, but will be different.... And Pettine will be on offense this year too. LOL.

We got Posey? Man he hasn't done squat in the NFL for the couple years he's been in it...I wish we had another 3rd round pick instead of a 4th...
There should be plenty TEs to take in round 4...The WR talent has dropped off considerably...Still like OT TJ Clemmings I'm sure his foot injury has effected his drop...Heck we can even grab a QB in round 4 as it looks..I still like Trey Flowers but idk how he fits our scheme

The Texans traded up with the Jets and gave the Jets Posey when they took Strong. There were a few posts about Strong, I was just surprised what they traded to go after him after he had sat there for as long as he did.
