I'll agree with this. I've been more than happy with his play, especially given the circumstances we got him in.

Him at center and Bentley at guard should be penciled in assuming Bentley gets healthy and Hank is re-signed. I'd be upset if we let him walk.

Also gotta give a shout out to Heiden. In a year where Winslow emerged, the guy just keeps bringing his lunchpale every week.

Hank at Center and Bentley at guard would be one of the best things that has happened to Browns fans since Mike Baab

where did you get that sig??? I showed it to Hank and he had a little boys smile on his face!

On another note, again, thanks for the kind words about his play. He was talking to his agent today and told him about this thread......... he also told his agent that he had FUN yesterday. It means alot when the season has been so stressful and tough on them mentally. Yesterday he came home walking like he was 90. He has a nice helmet size bruise on his hip/thigh...... he was loopy from all the banging, hands were cut up and bloody, he was wrapped up with ice.............. its the first time I've seen him get up with the kids without the pain symptoms. I really think hearing that fans appreciate his work and the game they played yesterday made a big difference.

Pray they all get fresh for thursday.............. I know the O-line will need it!!

Dang, sounds like he got beat up pretty good. Get him some Tiger Balm for those aches.....use generously cuz it sure helps sore muscles. (we use it in martial arts training) Glad we could help make him smile....after the way the team played yesterday I believe alot of us are still walking around with our head in the clouds and a silly smile on our faces.

haha, you guys are funny.

Come to think of it, I did give him a massage this week. I was sick of hearing him whine about it. I used to do it all the time but being 34 weeks pregnant, I feel like after I give a massage I need five. I went to a spa on tuesday and he gave me a guilt trip........ so I gave in.

I hope he doesn't try and link it to the win........or I'll be in trouble.

I'm not sure you guys will find a place where the play of the lines is as greatly appreciated as it is here. There are 20 players in the Hall of Fame that are or at one point were Cleveland Browns... and at least 10 of those played in the trenches. We've seen the legacy it builds with guys like Frank Gatski, Lou Groza, Gene Hickerson, Mike McCormack & Joe DeLamielleure on offense and Bill Willis, Len Ford, Willie Davis, Doug Atkins, Henry Jordan on Defense, not to mention all of the guys that aren't in the Hall that have made their mark here.... and we've seen the pain it leaves when you don't have it to. Around here, we KNOW where it all begins, and we truly appreciate it.

Tell him we say thanks to him and the rest of the team for yesterday..... and to go kick the [censored] out of Pittsburgh

Browns is the Browns

what kind of Martial arts traning do you do? I took some judo in college..... it was hard, but really fun. I remember at the end of the semester we had to have a tournament........ man, I got pinned by a girl who was 5'9 and had me by quite a few pounds........ my adrenaline kicked in and somehow I got loose and pinned her and won that match....... good workout!!

[color:"orange"]Danielle...don't know if you remember...in a post possibly a PM when first being introduced to you via the boards. I told you this town is an OLmans town - they love tÑeir OL. thats why you will read a lot of threads on them. In drafts we will have OL rated higher than other positions.

Hank works hard here...he will recieve the fruits of his labors...All the OLmen.

we have had nothing but horrible here as in OL units in the past - but Hank and his buds could own this town

Yesterdays game was their best together. It was the best OL effort I think I've seen here since 99 (Falcons game in 02 was close). Please convey to Hank and the rest...we saw! and Thank you!

Tae Kwon Do. Have been in many tournaments and at one point had a lock on heavy weight in my belt rank. Sure do miss the competition. (best tournament was at the Field House @ University of Pittsburgh up on the hill held by Grand Master CS Kim) It sure does make for a good work out and great training. Learning the art of pushing people around is also great for working the trenches in football. Alot of our kids were lettermen in several sports because of the training and discipline.

I just wanted to throw my .02 into this thread. My wife and I were amazed at how much hustle Hank showed yesterday. I said several times that the Browns need to give him a 5 year deal TODAY!

He is a perfect fit with our organization and our community. That type of work ethic is what us as fans love to see!

Go Browns!

I told Hank this morning, He reminded me of a bowling ball on that run by Anderson. If you see a replay, he was chasing DA down the sideline, and as DA was brought down Hank just nailed 2 guys and they went flying in different directions like bowling pins. haha. He loves to make those kinds of hits...........

It's nice to see a thread giving the line there due. They have caught a lot of heat for the way they played this year so when they have a good game it's nice to see them get a little of the credit.

yeah. today and yesterday was SWEET!! Tell Hank and all the rest that we saw how well they played and appreciated the heck out of it. I left the Peanut Farm (the brownsbackers bar here in Anchorage) with my head held high. It wasn't even the win really, (though that was very, very welcome), but it was held high b/c the BROWNS played HARD man. I just want other teams to think that when they come to Cleveland they better be ready to play b/c the BROWNS will bring it.

Hey Danielle, I didn't get to watch the game but I listened to it on web radio. So I didn't get to see a lot of Hank's play. Although they put the overtime on down here in FL. So I did get to see the Anderson run and Hanks block. NICE! His play was very much appreciated by all true Browns fans.

Yes indeed.................yesterday's victory had much to do with the OL........it has been a long time since I seen so many holes for our RBs to run and Charlie was not scrambling very much for his life in the first half.

I do believe that not a lot of fans had confidence when Frye came out in the second half with no pads on..................we kinda of thought that maybe we had no chance against a pretty good team........knowing that we just do not score a lot of points.......Anderson shined yesterday and that credit has to be given to the entire OL.

The OL kept the team in the game to the end and Big Hank had a lot to do with that!

I have a feeling that Fraley is going to be a Brown for the next four or five years at least.........he had a very awesome game yesterday and has been solid week after week!

I really feel for Tuck.............I sure hope that will feel better as time goes on.........he is a class act!

We have a bunch of players that are working very hard on the team and that has to credited much to our coaching staff!

Here's to winning three more games this season.........then regrouping for next season!

It would be nice to see both Bentley and Fraley on the OL next season working together!

It is time to show Pittsburgh what we are all about!

hank played well, he's quietly fit into this offense...

it makes me feel better having him, with the chance of lcb not being ready for training camp/opening day in 2007...

he anchored the line, took control, the line really picked their game up after their quarterback went down, they made life a lot easier for derek, and i thought with the way they were going, if we had the lead, or not been down 14 points, we could have run the ball a lot better too (guess we'll never know)

thursday is huge, they have to turn that intensity up again, this isn't kc's defense we're playing against, it's a much more physical squad with pittsburgh, even with a few injuries...

from what i've seen in video clips and write-ups, hank seems like a good guy too, and he seems excited to have gotten a second chance in cleveland, the feeling i get from him is that he really wants to be here, unlike other players on this team (i won't name names *cough* joe andruzzi *cough*)

The whole OL played considerably better than in other games this year. The first quarter was rough, but it appeared that they made adjustments or just manned up against the Chiefs as the game progressed. By the end of the game, I was wondering where the protection for Anderson was coming from, this was not the team or OL that I have seen in previous games.

I have tended to watch OL play this year, particularily to try and sort out the issues that have limited the offense this year.

Hank plays well, yesterday is was obvious that his effort made a difference. And it was obvious that there was effort yesterday. Nothing better than to see an OLman running down a play in the 4th quarter or laying out to knock down a tipped ball.

Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!…. That did not age well.

Whoever gave you that sig...I love it. I really hope we sign Hank to a fair offer this offseason...he deserves it. I really like watching him play. Give him a couple decent guards and we start piecing together a line that will give opponents fits.
