I need to be able to believe you. Can you provide enough examples to support that statement.

I would also be impressed if you could provide examples of "liberal racism" because both of these statements are very troubling and people need to be made aware.

Stop blaming parties. Corporate interests have way too much vested interest in both parties. Look at the puppet masters who are pulling the strings.

That I agree with. Parties are no longer for the people, but rather for those interests who financially support them.

The Parties play the games ..... the Democrats say that they will "raise taxes on the rich", and do so by raising income tax rates while adding tons of loopholes, and allowing for other forms of money made to be taxed at a lower rate.

The Republicans do the opposite.

It is a never ending cycle that keeps things largely the same.

The Republicans increased things like the Child Tax Credit, and the EITC, yet they are seen as wanting to spend less ..... all while being vilified for not wanting to help the working poor.

The Democrats and Republicans go back and forth, and nothing really changes. Clinton gets a ton of credit for "fixing the economy", but the economy was on an upward trend when the 1st Bush left office, and was collapsing at the end of his 2nd term. The dotcom explosion bolstered the economy under Cinton, (which he has nothing to do with) and the collapse of the dotcom explosion ruined the economy. (which Clinton also had nothing to do with)

However, some swear that this President was great for the economy, and that this other President was awful. They are all just tools of interests far above our level.

However, they do keep us all arguing so no one pays attention to the man behind the curtain .....

This thread was a concoction of bizarre comments that had me laughing out loud, shaking my head, feeling repulsed, sad that there is so much hate amongst us, amazed by the ironic nature of so many of the posts, etc, but those last two statements........

......made sense to me. It figures they were made by two of the smarter, more open-minded posters on the board.
