He should pass it to Jones, Miller, and Marion more. Those are the guys he wanted on the team.

Some people get mad when I do this, but heck w/them......

Sperg..........you make some really good basketball posts. I love reading your stuff. You obviously understand the game. Did you play? Coach? Or are just a very intelligent guy who has loved hoops your entire life?

Look, I don't agree w/all of what you say, but you sure as hell make sense and present valid, logical arguments.

The only thing I am going to fight you on is this........that 1-4 offense is stupid. I say we can use it a few times a game, but when we use it almost exclusively, our offense becomes stagnant. Blatt has a good system and if LeBron would ever drop his ego a few notches and give it a try...............we'd be a lot better off.

There's no way in hell you don't let Lebron put this game on ice.

He's the best player in the league. He made the shot. I agree with him overriding the coach and telling Delly to give him the ball.

And didn't they a
Ready prove that Lebron has a higher percentage of GW shots that Kobe?

Doesn't he have MORE based on raw stats and percentage?

Glad Lebron took the shot. He should take the shot again, and again, and again.

We won.

I didn't like how LeBron handled the press conference.

1st - he sounded like he was being interviewed after a loss rather than an exciting last second win.

2nd - why did he feel the need to throw it out there that he overruled the coach? One sports talk guy said he thought the information coming out 1st hand is better than the way things get twisted when they come out 2nd hand later. Does anyone think that was what LeBron was thinking at the time?

3rd - if he felt the need to talk about it in the press conference he should have said something like Coach wanted to run the picket fencre to JR but I said I'll make coach.

Why? What's the point? No one will be better than Jordan, but LBJ has been better than Kobe ever was for quite some time now.

Kobe is the most overrated player in the history of the NBA.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Kobe had some pretty ridiculous narratives said about him, but he was a tremendous player.

My favorite Kobe narrative is how TMac would have been better than him had TMac not been injury plagued.

He threw it out there, because some reporter was asking a ridiculous question about how the "free timeout" helped them draw up a game winning play. Lebron was sort of trying to shoot down the whole notion that the timeout even did anything because he just nixed the play and said give me the ball coach.

By the way, Jordan did the same thing on Lebron did during "The Shot". The original play was for Dave Corzine. Jordan finally said, "Give me the effing ball" and they drew up the play for Jordan instead.

J/C

I haven't watched a single game. However, I've been keeping up through reports and such since the playoffs started.

LeBron will cement himself as arguably the greatest player if he can pull this off. One wingman is out, another in playing injured, and the rest of the roleplayers are bruised. We're getting into Pre-decision era LeBron play. What does he have left in him? Can he take this team by himself to the finals and win it all?

This is the third time I've heard that this morning. Apparently it's the main responsibility of the assistant coach to keep track of time-outs and inform the coach when they are out.

This is probably why Lue grabbed Blatt by the arm.
Yeah, Lue might want to not wait next time.

NBA Admits To Another Missed Call In Cavs-Bulls Series
Posted By: Tomer AzarlyPosted date: May 12, 2015In: Cavs, Editorials
Sunday’s Game 4 between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls was quite the grind-it-out type game. Both teams scored a combined 170 points as Cleveland edged Chicago 86-84 in regulation.

It wasn’t an easy victory, as the Cavs endured a foot sprain and left knee tendinitis from Kyrie Irving and a sprained ankle from Lebron James. In the end, LeBron hit the game winning fade away jumper from the corner just before the fourth-quarter buzzer to give the Cavs their second win in the series.

Prior to that play however, James dribbled the length of the floor and drove to the basket before getting hit by Joakim Noah and had the ball knocked out of his hands. James thought he was fouled, as did the rest of the Cavaliers, but the Cavs were simply awarded the ball out of bounds and the Cavs were given 1.5 seconds to shoot. It turned out for the best as James hit the winner, but on Monday afternoon, the NBA announced that Noah should have been called for a foul and that LeBron should have been awarded two free throws.

Click here to watch the play the NBA announced LeBron James should have been awarded two free throws

This isn’t the first time in the series the refs missed calls late in games. During the final minutes of Game 3, the NBA announced that the referees missed a number of calls that could have changed the outcome of the game, and possibly the series.

Yep he started, didnt do anything but he's played.

I'm going into tonight viewing it as a must win. I just hope all the injuries don't have an effect on us. LBJ needs to play smarter ball. I have no issue with him changing plays like some do. But he needs to play smarter ball and stop the turnovers.

We have Joey Crawford officiating. He likes to call fouls a LOT. That favors Lebron because of his aggressive play. He's 25-3 in games Crawford officiates (have to recheck this). Expect Rose to get to the line a lot & butler to be in trouble.

That's my point. Instead of LeBron signing his buddies he could have gotten some real players.

Who could we of gotten that we would of been able to sign for the price they did?

While LeBron's comfort level with some of these guys may have been a factor, I don't think LeBron would sacrifice a chance to win a championship for the chance to play another year with his "buddies"... not to mention, he recently said he only has 3 or 4 guys he considers good friends in the NBA and none of them play for Cleveland.

Off the top of my head? Al-Farouq Aminu could have replaced James Jones and cost us less.

I like having Jones. He's a good back up stretch 4.

Obviously had we known Mike Miller was a ghost of a shell of his former shell, we probably would of went a different direction..

I'm not ganna cry over a guy who's averaged 6-7 points and 5-6 rebounds in his career.. His defense would be nice.

I think with the way this team has been put together over the last offseason and trade deadline.. It's very difficult to say it could of been done too much better..

He could have, but we were looking for guys that could shoot.

Good post. cfrs hates the Cavs and is always ragging on them, yet he makes excuses for the Browns.

The team he excuses sucks and hasn't sniffed the playoffs in years and has not ever won a playoff game. The team he disses is a team that had the 2nd best record in the East and has already won a playoff series this year.

Besides trying to wait till the trade deadline to get Love so that they could keep Wiggins, which could of led to them not getting him, what exactly could they of done?

How much better does a guy like Aminu make this team?

LOVE LOVE the aggressive Lebron ... if we had him every night it would be tough for us to lose a series

I think the best part is that he's not hesitating. He gets the ball and goes. Lately, he would get the ball and just stand there. Good to see him attack before the defender can get set.
