So very sorry for your loss, Clem. I went through this in late April with our old boy, Roscoe. I know it doesn't help, but I know how you're feeling right now. Hang in there until the good memories of your time with Bella overcome the more recent sad events.
My God Clem, I am so so sorry. That was heartbreaking to read because I knew where it was going. Got my first dog about 6 years ago. A minpin... my little Gabby, eight pounds of dynamite. I can't even think about the day, I hope it doesn't happen for another 20 years. But in the end, I'll know, as you know, that I gave her the most love and the best life she could ever ask for.
My condolences brother, had an old English sheep dog we had to let go a few years ago, went to the humane society on our second anniversary, didn’t bond with any of those dogs, was hanging out in the reception area and in walks a two month old plush toy.
