Granted. My point is that you would expect different behaviors from officers who are guarding compliant offenders in a situation where they (the police) are not under siege, than when angry mobs are screaming obscenities and death threats directly at them, throwing things with intent to harm, etc.

I even had a really cool gang anthem:

"Well, I'm D...N...T..., I'm dynomite, D...N...T..., and I would not fight, D...N...T..., I'm a power-load, D...N...T..., watch me explode."
Back in the day I knew some of the Outlaws...well...sort of knew them. They'd show up where we'd be playing because we did a lot of southern rock back then.

They acted like everyone was probably afraid of them and as far as I know they were right. They never caused problems though and no problems were ever created while they were there.

Absolutely. If I insinuated otherwise, my bad. Didn't mean to.

I actually have a relative who was fairly high up in a local Outlaws chapter. Actually second in charge of a local chapter. They were actually far more invested in their business ventures than anything else. Causing trouble simply wasn't high on their priority list. The lower profile they could stay, the better off.

Now that isn't true for all biker gangs. And to try to say the Outlaws were just an innocent gang of bikers would certainly not be accurate. But in my location growing up there were also the Satans and the Remegades.

At that time, in my location, they were trying to be tough to establish some kind of street cred. If there was some type of violence that involved biker gangs, it was FAR more likely to involve the Satans or the Renegades at that time.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Being a rider(I'm not a biker), I have been around many bikers from MCs, particularly the local chapter of the Renegades.

In my experience they are normal guys, as long as you respect them and don't be an arse. partied with them, been to their clubhouse, drank with them. No different than any one else. Actually have had some of my best rides when doing a poker run with them.

I have many friends and relatives who are involved in a group and they are normal people and certainly know how to Par-Tay until one of them gets hurt or killed. That is when the change kicks in and they become relentless in tracking the offender down. They will stop at nothing to get him and there are thousands of members. I have relatives who are near the top of the organization. Good people all.

Oh yea! Their name!

It's been many years since I hung out with any real hard core bikers.

Back in 1986-87, I worked for a lighting store in Cleveland doing stock, and I also worked doing whole house installations. (as well as individual installs) We would go into a new construction, after the plaster and paint were done, and install all of the fixtures. (and sometimes outlets and switches as well)

I enjoyed working with this one particular guy, and he enjoyed working with me, because we got paid by the job, not by the hour, and neither one of us wanted o screw around at the job site. We both wanted to get every job done early if we could.

Anyway, this guy was pure, 100% hard core biker, and anyone who knows me knows that I am not. lol My hair was much more red at the time, and I definitely did not have "biker style".

Anyway, we finished this huge job that took us like 4 or 5 days. This house was enormous, and had 3 huge, extremely heavy chandeliers that were to be installed in entryways with 20' ceilings. We had to set up scaffolding on each one of these darn things. We also had to do other lights up that high, as well as ceiling fans.

Anyway, after we finished this job, he asked me if I wanted to go grab a beer, and not thinking, I said "Sure sounds good".

We pulled up to this bar, on the east side of Cleveland, IIRC, and there must have been 20-30 Harleys parked outside. My first thought was "Man, I am gonna get my ass kicked here" ...... and I said to him "Man, I am gonna get my ass kicked here" ..... and he said "Nah, they're cool people."

I didn't have any problems, but I seem to recall seeing 2 people get punched out in the bar that night. lol I never went back there though. I actually moved back to YTown shortly after that.

When I was a teenager, my mom worked nights, and she had her car break down as she was on her way home. She said that some huge biker guy came over and scared the heck out of her, but he got the car going for her.

Those are my biker stories. I have a friend who has a lot of biker friends, but I never hung out with her at any biker things.

If it makes some feel better on this board, I consider the persons committing these crimes as thugs. That word has no color associated with it. Thank you and good afternoon.

Edit. Jax Teller was a thug.
