Ed O'Bannon isn't wrong, but I bet if you asked current, and former college football players, a lot of them wouldn't care if they were represented in the game. I know that if they were to be compensated, someone figured out that it would be 50-100$ per player, which would not really be that much money in the grand scheme of things from EA's end...
I just hope they figure it out because college football is such a big gamem for me. Always has been.
True, a WR from Toledo would be excited to see himself on a video game and wound't care if he got a $100 check. However, a future NFL first round WR will care and will the $100 (or more).
“...Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!”
Go get Splatoon. It's a new kind of shooter that leads to tons of madness.
Nintendo can be extremely frustrating when it comes to their online approach. Also the lack of content at release for this game stinks, but all that being said, the game itself is a blast. Having a lot of fun with a shooter again.
Watching the preview yesterday made me want to go back and play Fallout 3 again.
Steam sale is next week, so I certainly plan on picking it up!
Such an amazing game. I never went back and replayed it, but I need to. I missed out on so much when I beat it, because for the most part, I stuck to the main storyline. A lot of that map I didn't explore, and a lot of sidestories I never got to experience.
I loved the battle system, and how it mixed turn-based with live action. I'm surprised more games didn't copy that function. It really blended perfectly into a legendary game.
$5.00 on steam right now! Go pick it up if you do any PC gaming.
Played myself two hours worth tonight after downloading it.
The wasteland is so big and challenging, but what an engaging and addictive game. Just got out of the vault, and am working on one of the Megaton side missions right now.

To blow up, or not blow up Megaton....
Ha Ha.
I already told the guy no. He's dead now.
The only thing I really dislike about this game, is you can go up behind someone, and use VARS to perfectly aim 5 or 6 good shots directly to the back of their head, and it MIGHT NOT actually kill them....I tried to do this to Jericho and he turned around and destroyed me...
Ha ha.

It's go time! Get to use the Batmobile, c'mon now... how could it go wrong as Batman games have the best dynamics and fighting controls of any game. It's an engine that company will be able to reuse so much and other games will mimic and copy it.
I'm thinking of getting Batman, haven't decided yet. I picked up Elder Scrolls Online for the Xbox One on a whim today. I don't know much about it other than it's set in the Skyrim world and allows for a lot of people to play together at once. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised and find time to play it between Witcher 3 and Project CARS.

From what I am hearing, Witcher 3 going to take you some time to beat. It was a tough one between Witcher and Batman, but I choose Batman. It was those or Resident Evil Revelations II, but I just got done playing a horror game so... Batman it was!
Or do what I did, and order a new graphics card for your pc, and get both for free!
PC gaming, blahhhhhhhh.
I used to think the same exact way. Honestly.
But I got a good deal on a gaming PC through my work, and truthfully, it's fantastic.
The games load faster, the graphics look sharper, and the in game play and movement looks a lot crisper and smoother. You really can notice a difference between console and PC.
I use an Xbox 360 wired controller (via USB port) and it's really quite enjoyable.
Summer Steam sale starts tomorrow!!

Wait, wwait, wait. I can custom build a computer with the right processor speed and graphics card, and not only play online with strangers games like Madden and NBA 2K (maybe even Smash Bros.???), but do it cheaper than getting a console and still play with familiar controllers?
If that's the case, then it's no contest. Screw consoles. Everything after N-64 was a money grab anyway! Or maybe I just wear way too much 90's nostalgia on my sleeve. Or I'm broke. Maybe both.
Politicians are puppets, y'all. Let's get Geppetto!

Heck, in this day and age, it's not much more to just buy an entire tower pre-built. Like an Alienware machine or something (Dell), desktop markets are and has been very effected by the mobile/tablet world.
But, I just can't imagine playing on a PC. I definitely don't condone any who do though.
My gaming PC is hooked up via HDMI to my 64" Plasma. It is fantastic playing GTA 5 at 1080p and 60fps. The only limitation right now is I still use a wired controller, with a USB 6' extension cable. But that's a limitation on me, I could buy a wireless dongle if I wanted.
Also games like Elite (below) are PC exclusive. Score
For me it's the framerate. I can't deal with how consoles either have to drop FPS or lock you into 30fps. It makes games like NBA2k15 or GTA look terrible.
Lets not forget the PS4 is using a GPU based off a 7870. This GPU is almost four years old! The XB1 has even worse graphics capability (by about 33%)
If you want to be jealous check out Arkham Knight's preview of graphics features that will only be on PC:

Consoles of the past maybe, PS4 is already at 60fps. The new Battlefront game has already been announced at 60FPS across all platforms (PC, Xbox, PS4, etc):
Tomb Raider for the PS4 played in 1080p/60fps, and I can vouch that game was awesome. One of few games I kept after beating with the intention of replay. It seems if anything is having hard performance issues, it's the Xbox. Tomb Raider for that console had to stay in 30fps.
900p != 1080p. 60fps console games almost always downres the picture, making it blurry and muddy compared to proper 1080p.
Tomb Raider is a last gen game with a touch of lipstick for current gen. It's not going to push the hardware. Even so, according to eurogamer TR averaged 50fps on PS4, not 60fps.
You can't beat physics. The PS4 and XB1 are using four year old hardware. PC simply has the horsepower. And once game developers start developing for DX12 it will become an even wider chasm.

And this is why you'll stick with your PC, and I'll stick with my PS4. Either or, we will be gaming
I just said I don' condone PC gamers because, being a programmer, I am a nerd and build my own PCs and most my family have me build their new machines as they see needs to upgrade. I just don't build them for the purpose of gaming is all.
Yea, there is a cost involved. A quality GPU will be a good chunk of the cost of a console.
I'm likely to buy a PS4 anyway once uncharted comes out. I have a PS3 that I bought for MGS4/RDR/etc and an XB360 that I bought for various exclusives. I just think it's bad that these consoles have been out for almost 2 years and I still have no real interest in buying one.
For those still playing with the idea of what console to get, Microsoft announced today backwards compatability with XBox 360. Being able to keep all my current games might be a game changer for me.

That's huge, for a lot of people.
But those who sold their 360 games to get an Xbox One are probably livid right now!
I have 26 Xbox 360 games, and wasn't ready to give them up to get an Xbox One, so this holiday season it'll probably be time for me to pull the trigger and get the Xbox One.
This should have been a feature from the start in my own opinion.

Just OH MY GOD (to the person that didn't get excited over the cut scene video (sorry I have forgotten your name) but this is all real gameplay from the PS4, and it looks SICK):
I already preordered this, but I'm thinking about preordering it again LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
