NEVER EVER hurts a team.Yep, that is what I said Vers. I said his terrible play was not a direct effect from those two losses. We circled the wagons and made due. He still had opportunities and he failed. His technical breakdown was not from losing those two.
I have made it very clear about McCown. He is a lateral move with Hoyer. He has more accuracy and actually is very accurate when he has a clean pocket. He did not have that in Tampa. His entire OL sucked not just the Center.
They did not have a WCO hybrid predicated on running the ball and Play action. We do oh and so did Chicago Bears. They had some better skilled players but we have a better OL than Bears did. But lets not compare his play there that will most resemble what we will do here. Lets take the team that got the overall 1st round pick.
Last I looked McCown is not a Franchise QB he cannot make a BAD TEAM Good, He can manage games and play on the level of the overall roster that he has. System looks like we have his best possible system. Maybe why we picked him up...that was the word from the word GO when we signed him.
But go and all you want if that makes you more POWERFUL...As if this is some Ancient warrior stuff where you garnish the power of the vanquished....
What you seem to miss, nobody is stating that McCown is the next great one. Nobody. Even Pettine states he is a temp. How clear can that be.
What I am saying is this unification of Pettine and Farmer seems to actually have a plan. Not your plan but a plan never the less.
Everything coming up roses...no but a darn good plan and direction so far. Yes, I'm excited about it. You aren't - that doesn't surprise me...guess what we are both CONSISTENT with how we go about this. I understand you. Wish you would understand me a bit better. I'm not a blind HOMER. If I'm wrong in what I put out there as logic please discuss it.
But don't mock me as your counter point. You look at these discussion as some sort of method to VANQUISH...what I get from your empowerment post. In most of these cases/discussions the reality is usually somewhere in the middle.
Enjoy...can't wait for football season to start.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

Yep, pointing out the stats and who both QBs played with certainly indicates my insatiable desire to "vanquish" others and gives me a true sense of "empowerment." There is absolutely no logic behind my arguments. Instead, it's all about feeding my ego. Got'cha!
