Not trying to drum up the Droughns stuff but we have to know those issues didn't help.
As for Thomas, I wonder if he's carrying an extra 10 pounds of "baby fat" that can be turned into far more muscle while ultimately playing at the same weight. That would solve my question as well as my concern.
Well, I saw a little of his workouts at the Combine show, and he looked pretty lean to me. And, he was wearing a pretty snug Under Armor type of shirt. I'd have guessed about 8-10% body fat from what I saw.

"HOLDING, 73 OFFENSE"
Boy, does that bring back a lot of bad memories of good plays called back. Dieken's got to have the Browns all time record for holding penalties.
Doug was a master, all pro, work of art, when it came to holding, grabbing, yanking, twisting, and pulling on the defensive lineman and NOT getting caught. The man could have pulled an uzi and held up the d-lineman without getting caught
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.

I've felt that Thomas needed to get bigger and stronger in order to take on the guys he'd have to face.
Maybe I'm in the minority on this one, but I'd like to see him gain another 10 of muscle.
are the two one and the same?...just b/c they said they aren't specifcally asking him to gain weight doesn't mean they said 'do not improve your strength', or even, 'work on your strength, but don't worry about the weight'...maybe you're right, but the little that was stated leaves a lot for interpretation...
Browns fans are born with it...
