Ramadan is a month-long holy Muslim holiday that starts here in Connecticut today at 8:28 pm (sunset).

Although Cleveland is in the same time zone as Connecticut, sunset (and the start of Ramadan) there isn't until 9:03 pm.

I'm not sure holiday is the right word. Ramadan is a month of fasting, praying and refraining from swearing.

I'd usually make a joke right now but I don't need 1.5 Billion people to be pissed at me.

people make jokes about it all the time in Turkey.

seriously this "don't piss off the muslim" stuff is getting old. y'all taking extremist from 1-2 countries and think it applies to developed nations.

and here I thought it was the celebration of Ramen noodles. I like chicken but I'm sure pork flavor is in high order.
