The biggest question I had is... how would/could you portray utter wasteland and etc, and they've done a fantastic job.
There are a lot of various things to it too mission wise. There's the main storyline, convoys to destroy, oil/camps to destroy, strongholds and much more.
This game will cause me to go out and buy a ps4. I actually played a little fifa when I was in Target the other day with my wife.
What game? Mad Max? I like it a lot but I don't think it's a 'buy a new system because' type of game unless you're a die hard Mad Max fan...
I love Mad Max, and I love open world type games. So...
I think I said it before, but not being able to play ps3 games on the ps4 is a huge turn off. If that were the case, I'd probably already have the system. I understand the ideas behind it (even though Microsoft is alllowing backwards compatibility for the One, yes?) but for me, I still love too many ps3 titles. I'm a bargain shopper for video games, so I still have a decent stack of titles I have yet to play, as well as all the EA stuff from my cousin.
Forza 6 is out tomorrow, I will own it tomorrow. That and Madden will be battling for my gaming time for a while. I'm trying to decide if I also want to get the new FIFA next week, Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 tomorrow, NHL 16 tomorrow, or NBA 2K16 next week. I probably only have enough for one of those and may not get any. Forza is a lock, though. I'm trading in Forza 5, Mortal Kombat X, and MLB 15 The Show to completely pay off Forza 6. Can't wait.
Let us know how FIFA and NHL are, please. I'm afraid they'll both be exactly like last year's versions, but with more modes in NHL. I don't usually play those two as much as others, so there need to be some significant upgrades for me to get them.

Will do. However, it will be difficult for me to compare these to last year's versions as I didn't actually get any new sports games last year...
My most up to date versions of games are Madden 25, Fifa 13. NBA 2k13, nhl 2014. Just for whatever reason last year I didn't upgrade..
I'm hoping for a better franchise system in Madden. Madden 25 apparently had pre-created players that you could scout/draft. I always thought that was dumb. I love the randomness like in NCAA and older versions of Madden. Makes you really do your homework. Plus it creates better replyability. If you're a hardcore football gamer, older versions of Madden don't really bother you because you end up using scouted drafted guys that don't exist in the real football world.
My cousin told me that they should be random this time around...
As far as NHL goes, I love the series. I think they add nice improvements every year. I LOVE the board play. They really do a tremendous job. With FIFA, for me it's the best sports game there is. 2k, FIFA and NCAA were always me 3 go to games.
I usually get a sports game maybe once every 4 years. Like you said, I kind of like the randomness factor and don't really care about the initial rosters. NCAA, FIFA and 2k are my go-to games as well. I never really cared much for Madden.
Everytime I go online to play Madden, some kid that knows a cheat or something sits there and stacks up wins. It's pointless unless you have friends who will play you. Not bought a game from the Madden series in a LONG time.
I'm not a big fan of playing sports games online. Too many people quit in the middle of games.
Plus, the idea of building a team on your own is more appealing to me. You can choose to do it single player style, which means you can play at your own pace.
That's why I never get to the non-sports games that I have sitting here. I get so caught up in building teams in FIFA and NCAA.
HAHAHAHA!!! You and I sound like the exact same person.
And me too. I've built Idaho into an NCAA powerhouse ... that takes YEARS!
My UAB program won the national championship in 4 seasons.... They lost the year before to Wisconsin, but beat Notre Dame to win it all. I wish someone could do an update that puts the college football playoff into ncaa 13... (i never picked up 14 because I heard 13 is better with the dynasty mode.
What do you know, UAB football, in real life, will be back in 2017! ALL CREDIT TO ME.
I started as UMASSs (Worst team in the game) Defensive Coordinator..
After two years, Greg Mattinson retired from UM and I was rated well enough and got their DC job.. Won a NC our first year..
After two years of that I got the Utah HC job, won a NC in my second year, trying to repeat..
After I build them up to where they can sustain, I'm probably ganna move on to the next worse team in the country and start over, except ill be a recruiting master by then..
I enjoy it..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
I've never played it, outside of the demo. The thing that set me back on it was that I read the recruiting system was simplified and less in depth.
I won't deny that.
You literally just give recruits points. You get bonus points for being a better school, or them being interested, and you can only give them so much, etc..
But yeah, I do miss "calling" recruits and even miss the angry smiley face guy..

I like the challenge of having to recruit when you don't have a lot to offer.... When I started with UAB, the only thing I could really sell the recruits on was location and the possibility of early starting time.
Now, I am a national power, and I'm also in a power conference, so literally I'm an A in a bunch of stuff...
I think East Carolina may be my next project. I took UAB and moved them into the Big 12, I think I may try East Carolina into the ACC. It just fits so well.

Yeah, recruiting is the best part of the game. When I had an older version of the game (2009) I think, my project was to turn the Sun Belt into the SEC.
Picking up NBA 2K16 on the Xbox One today. That is always my second most played sports game behind Madden every year and it looks like another great version of it. I have to trade in GTA V for it, though. It will be missed.
Anyone know if there will be any Black Friday deals for the new systems?
If not im just ganna wait till my Amazon card limit gets raised and get one..
Madden 16 on 360 is literally just a roster updated 15.
Plus I dont wanna get 2k16 until I get a next gen.. NBA and WWE.
Also.. Boba Fett.
I doubt there will be any deals on the consoles themselves, maybe have some "bundle" specials which include a game and/or extra controller, but video game deals will be all over black Friday and cyber Monday.

My stack of games arrived today... My cousin threw in a copy of the latest Battlefield game (I think it came out last year) as well.
I've messed around with NHL for the last few hours... I didn't buy 15, nor did I play it, but this is quite similar to 14. The gameplay seems a bit smoother. I love that they switched out Thorne and Clement considering they haven't done NHL games in a decade.
Messed around with HUT which is fun. My copy is the legacy copy which includes a bunch of free packs to build you team. I actually like this game mode as you can mix and match lines with players from all different leagues and levels, and use different logos and jerseys etc.. It's identical to 14's HUT except you get packs for completing sets instead of coins (essentially the same since you buy packs with coins)
Didn't realize it, but the Legacy Edition or PS3 and Xbox 360 is pretty much NHL 15 with updated rosters and a few extra jerseys. It's supposedly the last NHL game for ps3 and 360 consoles... I do notice a few upgrades in gameplay from 14, however, as I said, I never played 15 so I don't have a reference for it being a duplicate.
Still an incredibly fun game with a bunch of cool modes.
Messed around with Madden 16 a little bit last night. Still trying to get a feel for it. Haven't started franchise mode or anything like that.

Always seems to be good deals on console bundles for Black Friday.
I might grab a 3DS or a XboxOne then. Maybe both...... I almost grabbed a 3DS already, but I've gotta get finances in order first.
I think my best one was a PS3 with Last of Us and some Batman game for like 200$
Also there's good deals on PS+, but I stopped using that

I didn't play last year's FIFA game on PS4 (I had PS3), but this version is much harder. I used to score pretty easily, now I have to really work for goals. The CPU is much better at intercepting passes. The goalies also seem to be a bit better.
Between Lynch running through wide open holes, Wilson running the read option, and my DBs just choosing not to jump for the ball.. I think they had at least 5 70+ yard TDs..
