Not sure I agree with your assessment on Bowe and Crabtree. For starters, Crabtree has excellent hands, maybe the best in the league. But that's where the accolades start and end. Crabtree has never been known to be a burner. He's not going to stretch the field. He turned out to be a very reliable intermediate guy. A solid, dependable #2. The problem is in his head he is the greatest. Other than his hands, everything turned out disappointing with him considering where he was drafted.

He is the one guy I really wiffed on.
Thought when he was coming out of college that he would be a stud runner. Wrong.

Well, we guaranteed a wide receiver that had zero TDs last year over $9 million, so what can we really say about $600k? The thing about Bowe that worries me is when I watched some footage up on their site of their receiver drills, He was so easily to spot without even seeing a number. He was slow, sluggish and just looked more like an average TE than a #1 receiver we paid him to be. There simply was no crispness to anything he was doing on the field.

For being a bum (come on, at this point that's about as true as it gets), the kid still got paid.
600k, heh Oakland... stupid.

I wonder if it is at all possible that the kid has not gotten a thorough check up on his eyes. Possibly he has tunnel vision. that is the only explanation I can possibly think of????

I don't think tunnel vision is an actual affliction of the eyes.

I'm no doctor but pretty sure it is...not the sports concentration to create tunnel vision...Obviously if an infliction it has a 7 syllable name to it that I cannot even begin to say or spell...lol

Maybe you're right. I've never heard of that before, though.
I think it's likely two things: a) there's something going on upstairs and b) he may have never had good vision.

We called him "Radar", because any time he'd ask a question, he'd rotate his head from left to right, to left, to right, etc. He couldn't see anywhere but pretty much straight ahead.

I think Trent had/has some head problems too. It's widely known he's not ever came into camp at the coaches desired weight. In the one Raider preseason game I wwtched, Trent looked very bloated. Indy also had many reports of his absences and "accessibility."
I think it's a multitude of issues with him outside of not being able to see gaping holes after the handoff..

Really thought Trent was going to be great. I'm ecstatic we were able to get a first to send him packing!

I feel bad for Trent. I was really excited when the Browns drafted him. I guess it was one too knee problems. Well, he managed to get 600k guaranteed from Oakland.

I was happy when we drafted him,and figured that we would, at least, be able to run the ball. What a joke that turned out to be. Oakland almost had to cut him when he continued to avoid wide open lanes in order to run up the backs of his blockers. When a player gets his own articles, with videos demonstrating his level of "suckitude", he's probably not long for the NFL world. That's where Trent went.

trent is a multi millionaire now. I got no pity for him.
