The only 2 backup OL we have that might be worth a roster spot are Miller and Erving. I carry 7 OL and pick up another 1 or 2 for the practice squad.

I totally agree. There are no other guys worth keeping. We are better off seeing who other teams cut.

Solomon and Flip are tight. He also has a relationship with Farmer as well. They can downplay it but would anyone be surprised if Bowe was released on Saturday? Anyone besides Bowe that is lol

No room for Lentz on the 53..get use to it. Same with the Wynn kid - From all that I listen to and read the coaches have Jennings higher than any of the other no name young WRs.

I heard we did some slash stuff with Pryor...hard for an OC to throw that toy away. High probability Pryor makes the roster. Lentz is a no. Jennings a ???

I think Jennings goes to the practice squad. Lenz playing safety helps his cause big time. I think he makes the team. He was also Johnny's favorite target.

Either way we go we are gonna cut 3 or 4 guys that can play at this level.

I'm not pimping Bowe but in all fairness I only saw one pass thrown to him. There several times I saw him in single coverage, I would like to have seen if he could have come down with some of those to get a better idea of his ability.

I would say after last night Lenz makes it and Jennings just play his way off the Team. Also I think Bibbs stays and housler goes. He's younger and has more upside.

Lenz/Pryor still not picked up by 31 other teams. Doesn't reflect highly on our core WRs since both of them almost made our team. But that all changes today...our offense and WRs will have a highlight performance. GO BROWNS!!!

We cut them...how can it not reflect highly on the core...man you guys. So Norwood is the #3 WR on Denver...somebody we cut in 2013...so that means our WR corp of 2013 was fantastic...lol laugh

All that means is we knew what we were doing as in both those Cuts/releases the FO and Coaches were villafied by many here. Swearing up n down we made a mistake.

Back to our WRs - our top WR this year for you fantasy guys. Benjamin...coming off of serious surgery last year and definitely a little hesitant. He led our WRs in TDs. This year I think he will be a go to target. He runs great routes has speed, his vertical leap is excellent and his hands are very very good!

lets hope hawk, benji and gabriel can break out today. hartline as well, he had some good catches but wasn't creating any kind of separation.

Ray Farmer feels WRs very rarely impact a game. He undervalues the position.
he wants other GMs to believe that he's smarter than all of them by
NOT TRYING TO ACQUIRE A DIFFERENCE MAKER AT WR.

Hey, did any of you guys catch any of the rumblings this morning about the team wanting to part ways with Bowe? I've just caught snippets. Don't know if its gossip or not? Anyone else have any info?

I have heard the Browns were in talks with Dallas about Bowe but they couldnt agree on a price. Nothing of any real substance however.

I wanted to add that I first heard this when there were reports of Dallas wanting to trade for west. That was the first time i heard the rumor that it was Bowe they were wanting not west and then i heard it again on Friday that they were in talks Browns wanting a player not a pick which never happens.

I've heard coaches want him gone but the FO isn't moving him yet because of the ridiculous $9M guaranteed he got. What a mess.

Between this, the suspension and flushing draft picks straight down the toilet, how does Farmer keep his job?

Bowe was a Farmer guy form KC. He was in the tub for most of the pre-season.

Two years $9mil guaranteed. He was brought in to be the guy.

Haslam does not strike me as a patient guy. Farmer's review at years end will determine much about the future.

Saw Goff and Cook both played well.

Goff is a legit #1 overall pick talent. I like him as much as I liked Mariota last year. And if we're as bad as we looked last week, we might even have a shot.

Bowe has a history of laziness and has been underwhelming for several seasons now. While he might have been the best shot at snagging someone resembling a number one receiver off of the free agent market, he was really the best of a list of bad options. It’s not shocking that the Dwayne Bowe signing is not working out.

The article makes this statement...if this is true about being lazy and underwhelming..why not just pay the 9M and let him go? Does he have to stay on the active roster?

He may be incompetent, but you cannot judge that based on 2 years of drafting one in the current year.

Actually, I can. It has NOTHING to do with the clown he drafted this year. It's about all the talent he's passed on in the past TWO drafts because he doesn't believe WRs impact the game. HELLO! The NFL is ALL about passing on the offensive side of the ball. He is an incompetent dumbass.

And if Jimmy keeps him around for next year's draft, well, you know.
