Hogan continues to be my favorite QB who misses his receivers by a foot or two every throw.

Northwestern faces Duke in a few weeks. Will be really interesting to watch if they can win this game.

Northwestern can win the Big 10 West. Although whoever comes out of that division is gonna get blasted by the East.

Hogan was great as a freshman. He has regressed every year. Keller Chryst, Stanford's backup, is supposed to be pretty good. I wonder if we see him this year.

It's hard for me to feel too proud about this win. 3 or 4 completed throwns, better ball placement and everything makes the game wide open for Stanford.

I was feeling down about Stanford losing to Northwestern, then I turned on Penn State versus Temple.

Do you think Hackenberg is worth anything in the draft? I feel like his offensive line is just so God awful.

I don't know much about him other than he was very good as a freshman. Also, I know that Franklin isn't known for having great offenses. Right now I would say that there are several others ahead of him as far as draft status. Bill O'Brien will definitely be interested.

I never understood the hype for James Franklin. He gives a good pep talk, WOW.

I always thought James Franklin was a tool after the whole, "I don't hire an assistant with an ugly wife. If you can't close with a fine lady, you can't recruit," sexist nonsense. Woody Hayes was awkward with the girls but always comfortable having a conversation with the guys, and he did just fine. Coaches can coach.

Hackenburg got sacked 10 times today. That's inexcusable. I've seen FCS o-lines versus defending national champs on the road do better than that.


Texas is such a frickin mess right now.

Many of those sacks were on Hackenberg. He's got to get rid of the ball. Guys had to have been open, they were playing freaking Temple.

Myles Garrett might be the best player in college football. He's amazing. They were triple teaming him and still having to hold him. He opens things up for his teammates.

Why did Petrino call his final timeout w/the clock stopped? I think that guy is an idiot.

This weekend definitely has a Bowl Season feel to it (to me anyway).

That Northwestern game was exciting. The Badger and Wolverine losses were disappointing. Even though I revile Michigan and Wisconsin when they play the Buckeyes, I do want them to do well otherwise.


Speaking of Bowl Season, I just got my schedule of 2015 Bowl games.

There’s 41 Bowl games this year.

Starting with the Cure Bowl December 19th in Orlando FL and ending January 11th with the National Championship in Glendale AZ. A great way to finish 2015 and begin 2016.

I'd be fine if they cut it down to the final 4 games plus 4 more bowl games. Two on New years Eve, Two on New years Day ... and that's it.

I never saw the point in meaningless games with little reward/consequence.
