What degree jobs are we outsourcing? The majority of outsourcing is manufacturing and those annoying customer service tech people that nobody can understand. The number one job being outsourced according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics is not manufacturing, it's computer professionals.

At one time, unions were good, and needed. Then too many of them got too big, and became a business in and of themselves. They demanded higher and higher wages, better benefits, pensions, etc. (I'm thinking UAW here, and some construction unions).
They got to be like nascar is becoming: too big and too spoiled. Nascar is sinking. Quickly. The teams always need "more money" Too many hands in the pot.
Pensions, for most people, are going away.

You know arch, I really don't disagree with you. It just seems like it's feast or famine. Unions got too big and greedy and without unions the companies are too big and greedy. Proof of that was the need for unions in the first place.
There's simply no middle ground.

I think there is middle ground. There are many companies that value their skilled labor employees. Good pay, benefits, etc.
When unions mandate too much, or when gov't. steps in, companies find a way around it - robots, for example.
Why pay a person $20 an hour, paid vacation, health care and other benefits - just to put nut A on bolt B when you can invest in a machine that does the same thing? Quicker, with more quality control, and aside from routine maintenance, it doesn't quit working. It doesn't take sick days, it doesn't fail to show up for work, it doesn't go on strike or threaten to.
Power on, product running.
We need people to make the machines, no doubt.

The Radiologist is still in the US and must be registered in the US in order to legally read the Xray or Mri etc. The Hospital won't be able to collect money especially from Medicare, Medicaid and many Health care organizations otherwise. Legally, yes, this is true. But they still do it anyway. In that case it is a Federal Felony and jail time with big fines await them. Good luck catching them. Medicare fraud is tough to get caught on due to the general nature of its honor system. That and the confusion of wading through medical billing.

So, here I am thinking that English is the official language of the US. then i do a google search....and we have no official language. Now, who sets that? Was it the founding fathers who decided to not set an official language or religion, was there a purpose for that? because now i realize...i really have no reason to complain about pressing 1 for english.

There's simply no middle ground. "Everything old is new again." We should always keep in mind the cyclical nature of things. Unions came about as a reaction to exploitative bosses, owners and corporations. They were necessary in those days to ensure decent wages, safer working conditions and job security. But you can't change Human Nature- and eventually, they overstepped their mandate, leading to the same behavior they were formed to fight against. Now, because of a concerted 30-year 'anti-union' campaign, bosses have succeeded in drastically diminishing union influence in the job market. AND... as could be predicted, they have spent the past 10 years overstepping THEIR bounds. Again. It's only a matter of time before the pendulum begins to swing back in the opposite direction. Companies like Wal-Mart will actually be responsible for the return of unions by their current policies, whether they realize it or not. There will inevitably come a 'tipping point,' where American workers say "enough!"... and a new age of unions will commence. We're fast approaching that day now. This dynamic is no different than the cycles we see in politics, social issues, or even NFL defensive schemes. A study of history going back a mere 200 years will prove this out. There actually IS a 'middle ground' tho- it's that golden 20-30 year period that takes place during the middle of each pendulum swing... when we come closest to equilibrium. After that, it's crazy excess on either end, until the 'temporary winners' give away their advantage by pressing too hard. Happens all the time, because as a species we never learn enough from the mistakes made by our parents and grandparents. Myopia is a b!tch. .02

so conservatives hate others?
makes a lot of sense when you hear most of them speak. 40 is the epitome of this. No conservatives like Americans and don't like when Iranians chant "Death to America" after agreeing to Obamas nuclear deal. I don't like to argue politics but it completely baffles me when discussing this iranian nuclear deal with progressive liberals. How can you defend a deal that will allow Iran to go nuclear within 10 years, when Iran celebrates said deal with chants of Death to America?? And you wanna spin it as conservatives not liking people. unbelievable.

How can you defend a deal that will allow Iran to go nuclear within 10 years, when Iran celebrates said deal with chants of Death to America?? Well it really helps by knowing that's not true. Well, at least part of that is true. There have consistently been "death to America" chants in Iran for decades, and the rhetoric regarding this deal has certainly continued that theme. Is it all people there? Absolutely not. However, the military and religious leadership of that country, the people who matter as far as the actions of Iran, do. The deal allows for Iran to hide almost anything, as inspectors have to give notice before any inspections can take place. There are also aspects that allow for the use of uranium by the Iranians. There are a great deal of areas for concern in this deal. Please specify out how what he said is not true ... other than just a dismissive sentence.

I'm almost certain I heard that the inspectors would be Iranians. In other words, they'd inspect themselves. Did anyone else hear that?

Well, I guess that was partially right. Iran gets to inspect the site they were using to develop nuclear weapons (even though they deny even having that place, right?) Parchin, I think that's the name. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/08/19/...e-it-allegedly/

Obama’s secret Iran deals exposed President Obama promised that his nuclear deal with Iran would not be “based on trust” but rather “unprecedented verification.” Now it turns out Obama’s verification regime is based on trust after all — trust in two secret side agreements negotiated exclusively between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that apparently no one (including the Obama administration) has seen. Worse, Obama didn’t even reveal the existence of these secret side deals to Congress when he transmitted the nuclear accord to Capitol Hill. The agreements were uncovered, completely by chance, by two members of Congress — Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) — who were in Vienna meeting with the U.N.-releated agency. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/...c92a_story.html

As for Trump, I don't see him having much of a shot at president.

The oldest president to assume office was Ronald Reagan (age 69 years, 349 days), who was also the oldest in office (age 77 years, 349 days), ending at the inauguration of George H. W. Bush.
And the Libs cried he was much too old.
Socialist Bernie Sanders, if elected, will take office at 75 years old. At least he won't have to live long in the Country he destroys.
