The # Browns traded Terrence West for a conditional 7th rounder, source said.

A conditional 7th? Man, they must have really soured on him.

As a follow up to the Browns were asking too much for Dallas to make the trade as noted in the locked part 1 of this thread: Cowboys acquired RB Christine Michael from the Seahawks for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2016. It's a smart flier for the RB-needy Cowboys, and the best-case scenario for the uber-talented Michael after he languished behind Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin the past two seasons. Michael has obviously been overvalued in fantasy circles, but his raw physical ability still jumps off the page. He'll be put in position to succeed by shrewd OC Scott Linehan behind Dallas' league-best offensive line. There's a chance Michael ends up just as buried in Dallas as he was in Seattle, but he's very much worth a flier behind Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar and Darren McFadden. There are carries there for the taking in Big D. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter http://www.rotoworld.com/playernews/nfl/football

Kid has to be a total douche to be dumped this early when we gave up so much for him last year.

Man, so many of the talking heads said we got this huge steal when we took him last year. Between him and Trent, I think that maybe we shouldn't ever draft a RB ever again.

Wow...kid must be a total head case. I still think he has the talent and potential to be a featured back but his attitude must be garbage. Of course now he will go be a star for the titans knowing our luck

I would guess we have someone lined up to come in. Unfortunately, I could see that person being the wife beater.

I wonder if this opens the door to add a veteran RB?
Ray Rice is still available...

I was wondering if they would pursue Montee Ball, cut by Broncos.

May as well fire him after the suspension and let a senior janitor play GM for awhile. What a joke

This franchise will get out of the cellar until it gets a GM who has frankly had a resume of being a successful GM. This thing where the Browns draft GM's that need training wheels isn't working, hasn't worked ever.

If I was a betting man I'd say Draughn comes back as number 3, meh move though he's never done much at any stop of his in the league.

I would be more interested in Montee Ball then either Draughn or Rice.

Agreed, Slick. He must have really worn out his welcome. Good riddance if it is a sour locker room kind of issue.
Am I the only one here who expects to see him on "Dancing with the Stars" someday? Pimped him some, and I pulled for him. But his dancing in the hole made me crazy. Next.

Well there goes another brilliant pick of Farmer. A third rounder traded for a conditional 7th and a bag of dirty towels.
Add Mayle the fourth rounder who was really slow, couldn't catch and was injured.
Least we forget Gilbert.
Old Ray just keeps racking them up.
Hey I need to send him a text wherever he is.

The FO had to do a better job on vetting these guys we are drafting. Folks coming in with bad attitudes is not conducive to successful drafting. Hope for Gilbert, Johnny and I think this is definitely "shots fired" over the Crows bow. I'll credit them for cutting the head off the snake (like Tate) so promptly but a little more diligence required methinks.
Over to you Crow. Week 2 is tasty now.

That might be a truly decent pickup. Is he healthy? Not aware of an injury cut there.

I agree bard. Not a big loss especially if he has attitude issues.

Never really liked the pick. At that point, I was going into midstroke that we hadn't picked a WR.
West felt like it was a desperation pick and that Farmer was picking for need rather than BPA. West looked to be a workhorse back that never really became a workhorse back. I will say he did seem to be the type that got better with more touches but I don;t see him getting the shot to be a 25 carry a game guy.
At the end of the day, we still have the best back we picked up in 2014 with Crowell who I actually have hopes for and seems to bring more to the table than West.

I think West can be a adequate starter. I believe this is the best thing for him and Crowell.

The depth chart on offense freaking looks horrible! Makes me think this might be a coach's decision. A defensive minded coach adding tons of depth on defense and running a skeleton crew on offense. I really don't like how things are shaking out.
