Not sure if it was the Trotter story, but I read it was more just making a different read than Baker more than anything. I have quite a bit of empathy for the players in these situations. Their time in the league is short, and to be stuck in a scheme that doesn't fit must be maddening. I'd wish him well if he weren't such a turd on the way out.
And i know this is bitterness talking, but he's going to get everything he wants, which pisses me off. His reworked contract is such that teams probably won't claim him. He'll be a FA.
