jfanent	40's right on this one. 2a is stating that the already existing inalienable right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed due to the fact that a well regulated militia is necessary to the security of a free state. People have been trying to force alternate interpretations of this for years, trying to make people believe that it only applied to militias.
