I think it's actually a terrible idea. I'm all for more accountability in what politicians spew. Both parties either exaggerate out outright lie. But when a political party can appoint and determine what is truth and what is not, every time there is a shift in power it will be used against the very people who promoted it. Much like doing away with the filibuster. It sounds great if you're the party in power. But soon it will be the other party that's in power. Then the very tool you promoted to get your way will come back to bite you in the ass.
