That’s why I have my doubts about DePodesta and Berry. Being intelligent and making smart decisions is two different things.



Jimmy Haslam is the man in control and he has a history of ignoring those he hired to make smart decisions, in favor of his own judgement.

Examples...drafting Manziel, hiring Hue Jackson, firing John Dorsey and now Watson and all his baggage.

The owner has gone to great length to portray himself as a hands-off owner...but in reality, nothing could be further from the truth. Jimmy's finger prints are all over some of the most questionable decisions the Browns franchise has made since 2012, when Haslam bought the Browns.
