Bottom line is we've played two bad teams - we nearly lost both. Granted Brissett is a backup" - so we aren't seeing the team at it's full potential, but Brissett played well yesterday and was not the issue. Even when BM was playing well we had many games that should have been easy wins become nail biters and we know where the blame went in those days. . . .

It's not too hard - when you lose games you should have won, if you see a pattern in games being close when they shouldn't be - players and coaches are going to be under the microscope and be criticized. Period. And to put the Stefanski talk into perspective - for 4 years if the Browns lost due to bad defenses, missed FGs or bad referring - Baker was the focus of many people's ire - most especially Vers. I think it's odd that now when we see issues - the focus seems to be the fans! That's just odd.

Shocking result - knowing there won't be a change on the coaching staff, I'll focus on the bright spot that was Brissett playing well. I'll just have to hope and keep fingers crossed that the D sorts itself out pronto.
