5 times more lithium by the end of this decade. This is not a problem that will go away on it's own. Nor is the extra stress it will put on electric infrastructure. Nor is electric (in most places) clean energy.
The bigger question (in my mind) is when will we realize that electric cars are merely a transitory solution?
