But you are right, we have trouble analyzing what he did because someone always come out with a "so your saying... is like hitler...he is going to strt a world war... or try to commit genocide..." And that always distracts from the point trying to be made. Regardless, there are very important lessons to be learned.

THIS. This is not a Hitler analogy. It's a process analogy. It's a comparison - or history lesson - or warning showing the parallels of what and how Democracy was defeated in one country 90 years ago and how similar undermining and manipulation are happening here today. It's not even very reliant on opinion. The way that the GOP rely on Trump supporters is a fact. The way Cheney and Kinzinger have been ousted from their party for speaking truth is fact. The Gerrymandering and attempts to control the electoral process is fact.
