Baseball continues to amaze me.
It has been a part of my life since I was eight. You watch a the regular season and you get over the ups and downs because you play the next day.
At times it looks routine. Team ahead in the ninth by 2 or 3 runs . Closer comes in. Game over. Then two days goes by and a 3 run lead is blown.
Regular season is over. Dodgers record is crazy good. Runs scored; Runs against. Run differential a staggering +334.
Padres 22 games behind.
Padres take the series in 4 games.
Mets, Braves, Dodgers all win over 100 games. That is not easy to do. All three are out now.
All those tiny things that happen that can change a game.
What an amazing sport.
