Why do we pass it deep every 3rd and 4th and short?
Dude, c'mon, do you know nothing about football? Later in the game, when you have to go 40 yards in :16 seconds to have a chance to attempt another game tying FG... it was those plays that allows the 3 yard out to be open. It's all strategy.
